Alex sat on the bed, trying to take her mind off of Sebastien's .... parts by watching a little television, but she knew it would be no good, he was still in her mind and she was still re playing what had just happened over and over again in her head. She had changed into her pj bottoms, and a spaghetti strap top while she waited for him, she figured it was late and that it would probably be for the best to change into something more comfortable. Sebastien had finaly greeted her through the door, and Alex could finally go and finish her "business" in the bathroom.
She sat there, leaning against the pillows with her knees raised as she continued to watch the flashing pictures on the screen, constantly glancing at the door. She had no idea if Sebastien was going to wish her goodnight or not, but yet again, why would he?
She ran her hands through the strands through her hair as she continued to look at the television. She glanced down at her hands for a moment, bringing her hands from the strands of her hair, her palms facing up. She could see the scared ingraved inside her palms ... all from that night. She traced the scar on one of her hands with her index finger ... half smiling as she remembered back to that night. He had helped her out so much, what made him decide to do what he did? She chuckled to herself and smiled as her eyes continued to study her damaged palm, that night was one that she loved, and one that she will always remember.
Alex haden't realized that she was to into her thoughts. She nearly jumped when she heard a knock on the door.
" Come in." She replied, almost shakely still the jump having the effect on her heart.
She could feel herself smiling as she saw a familiar hand being placed on the side of the door as it opened.
" Can I come in?" Sebastien asked as he cracked open the door, pearing his head through the opening of the door.
" Sure Sebastien, it's your room." Alex replied, as she straightened herself on the bed.
" I thought I would bring you some wine before you went to bed." He smiled as he walked in, carrying two glasses, filled with the red liquid.
Alex smiled as she saw the liquid gently swaying inside the glass as Sebastien walked towards her.
" You truly know me." She smiled up at him as she retrieved the glass from his hand. " Thank you."
Sebastien smiled down at her, as he handed her the glass. He was glad that she was able to keep a good smile on her after the little incident earlier.
" Is it okay if I sit here with you? Or would you like me to leave?" Sebastien asked carefully, he realy was unsure of how Alex was feeling around him.
" Of course Sebastien." Alex replied, surprised of how the tone came in her voice as she patted the spot on the bed next to her. " God, you ask me like it's my house." She giggled.
" Well, I'm just trying to make you comfortable." Sebastien replied as he walked on around the other side of the bed, his glass in hand, sitting next to her.
Alex sipped her wine as Sebastien sat next to her, she felt her insides start to turn as she could smell the cologn on him. This has the closest she had been with him ever since that day, the day he went to her house. She could still feel his touch everytime she thought back to that night, be this was reality now, he truly was sitting next to her. Her heart raced, she had no idea what they should talk about during the two of them sitting there.... and on a bed of all places!
" So are you excited about work?" Sebastien asked, as if reading her mind.
" Uh, yes ... I truly am." Alex smiled as she pulled the glass away from her lips. " It's a job I've been wanting to do in a while."
" Yeah, I remember your photographs." Sebastien nodded as he turned his eyes towards his wine glass below him.
" You've seen my pictures?" Alex asked as she looked at him.
" Yeah, when..." He stopped, he wasn't sure if she should bring anything up from that moment in time or not. " From that night of our first date.... I saw them on the counter."
" Oh yes, I remember now." Alex nodded as she took her glance from him to the television.
" Among other things."
Alex nodded slowly as she continued to look at the television screen, she wasn't sure what Sebastien was trying to get at.
" I can tell you other things that I remember from that night, Alexandria." Sebastien replied softly as he looked at her, placing his wine glass on the night stand next to him.
Alex could nearly feel her heart stop, it was the first time he called her Alexandria ever since that day. He only called her that when they dated, and only when they were getting along ... something was coming. She looked at him, she could feel herself coming tense, she didn't know what he had planned or what he was gonig to say.
" You're wearing the same pj's as that night .... the very same ones." He replied, almost sadly as he scanned his eyes quickly over her then back up to her eyes.
Alex swallowed hard as she continued to look at him, she knew he was right, she just never realized.
" I remember these beauties." He replied as he placed her hands in his, wrapping them around hers. " Do you remember, cherie?"
" Yes, Sebastien." She replied quietly, she could feel tears build in her eyes as she looked at him, she still didn't know what he was doing. She continued to look at him as she saw him place his lips ontop of her hand, holding the kiss for a few seconds.
" I remember these lips, these very lips." He replied, almost tearfully as he placed his thumb over her bottom lip. " I even remember what they taste like." He whispered into her ear, his lips just centemeters from her lobe.
Alex closed her eyes as she felt the heat of Sebastien's breath against her ears, she was having the same feeling come back to her from the last time she saw him, the same feeling when he went to her house. She could have easily just kissed him right there on the spot, but, she knew it was wrong, and she would only be hurting herself if she were to do so.
" It's not the same anymore, Sebastien." She finally replied quietly through her rapid heart beat. " It's been 6 months."
" I know, I know." He replied taking his eyes away from hers as he released his hands from hers. He then met his eyes with hers again, smiling gently. " But, I will never forget." He cupped his hand underneith her cheek.
Alex just looked at him, feeling a single tear tickle her skin as it fell downard towards Sebastien's palm.
" It will get better in time cherie, just give it enough." He smiled gently into her eyes, as he wiped the tear away with his thumb. " Goodnight Alexandria." He said before pressing his lips against her forehead. He soon grabbed his glass from the nightstand, and headed out the door, closing it gently behind him.
Alex felt more tears stream down her face as she stared towards the door way, letting all of Sebastien's words soak into her. She pressed her plams against her forehead as the tears began to flow again, she just wanted him back again.
