Sebastien had a hard time sleeping that night, especially with the girl he loved was in the next room to him. The look that she gave him had concerned him, and he couldn't get it out of his mind ever since. That look struck his heart, he for sure knew what she was deeply saying, even when her words were quite the opposite. That look was telling him that she wanted to be loved again, and he knew that the look was only for him. She wanted to be loved by him, she still had feelings for him.
It was then when his mind had finaly settled, he had finally found a comfortable spot on his couch when he heard screaming coming from the bedroom. Since his mind had just fallen asleep, he was unsure if it was just a dream, or if there realy was screaming in his place. Although the screaming was not very loud, it was enough for him to hear it, and for him to stir.
His eyes fluttered as his mind became more concious, he started to wake up. He groaned, his eyebrows furrowed as he turned his head towards down the hall, wondering if the screaming was truly just a dream. He layed there, his eyes staring down the hallways into the darkness, waiting for his confusement to be more clear.
He quickly sat up once the screaming continued, realizing that it was a females voice, and it could only be one person. He pushed his blanket off of him, and quickly made himself down the hallway, almost stumbling on his own feet in the process.
He cracked open the door, and peared his eyes into the room. He fixated his eyes towards the bed, as the light from the moon peaked through the curtians, outlinging Alex's sleeping body, or once was sleeping. He opened the door, as he continue to hear her scream and figit in her sleep, she was having a nightmare.
Sebastien quickly closed the door behind him as he walked towards the bed, leaning infront of her and running his hands over her face. He could feel the sweat pouring from her glands as he traced his fingertips from her cheek to her shoulder, lighlty shaking her to awaken. He called her name a few times before her blue eyes shot wide, fixing on Sebastien's.
" You were having a nightmare." Sebastien replied, once he noticed Alex's eyes looking at him.
" Oh my god Sebastien." She sat up, her knees raised as she breathed heavely. Her dream still having effect on her.
" It's okay, it's over now." He rubbed his hand over her back as he crawled on the other side of the bed, trying to make her feel comfortable.
" Oh Sebastien, it was so strange." She said tearfully as she wrapped her arms around him, hugging him tightly.
" It's okay cherie, I'm here." He replied softly as he wrapped his arms around her.
He placed his lips ontop of her head as he breathed in the sent of her skin, he missed holding her close to him. He continued to rub her back as his arms were still wrapped around her, and hers wrapped around him.
" I'm sorry Sebastien, did I wake you? Was I loud?" She asked as she looked up at him, seeing his eyes in the light of the moon.
" I was already awake." He replied as he pulled strands of hair away from her face, feeling her cold sweat upon her face.
" Oh, I feel foolish. I'm sorry." She replied embarrassingly.
" It's okay, cherie. If you need anything please let me know." He replied kissing her forhead.
Alex looked up at him, she wanted to ask, but was afraid of what he would think of her.
" Well, there is one thing." She replied, shifting her eyes downward.
" Yes?"
" Can you stay here with me? I don't want to be alone, not after that." She looked in his eyes.
" You want that?"
" Yes."
" Of course cherie, I don't mind." He replied as he placed his arms around her as she rested her head on his shoulders.
She wrapped her arms around him tightly as he continued to hold her, she could smell a brief of his cologn on his neck, and she missed it. She missed holding him, she missed having his arms around her, she wanted him back so badly. She soaked in his sent as she held him there for a moment, not wanting to let go.
" Here just lay down, and I won't leave your side." Sebastien replied gently as he pulled away slowly, pulling her pillow closer to her.
Alex nodded as she rested on her side, resting her head against the pillow, watching as Sebastien layed on his side, looking at Alex. She smiled at him as her eyes connected with his, it's been so long since she truly looked into them.
" Thank you." She replied quietly, almost in a whisper.
Sebastien smiled at her as placed his hand around her cheek, drawing the fallen bangs away.
" I don't want you to have any more nightmares." He replied.
" Don't worry I won't, it helps when someone is with me ... that's why I asked you."
" It's no problem cherie, I'm just surprised you asked me."
" Why Sebastien?" Alex asked, her eyebrows beginning to furrow.
" Well, you know, after all we have been through." Sebastien replied, shrugging his shoulders. " I only want what's best for you."
" Just stay here with me, just tonight." She replied, almost begging as she rubbed her hand up and down his arm. " I won't ask you for anything else."
" Of course, Alex. That's why I'm laying next to you." He smiled as he chuckled.
Sebastien looked at her as she smiled, there was that look again in her eyes. Her eyes were sparkling again, he missed that sparkle so much. His eyes scanned her face, not wanting to miss every detail that was infront of him, he could never have this chance again. Her hair, her eyebrows, her cheeks, nose, and her lips. He stared a little longer at her lips, how he remembered so well how they tasted and how he would give anything to place his agianst hers again.
Alex could feel his eyes tracing over her, and she didn't know why, but she couldn't help but do it herself. She missed him so much, she wanted to be held once more, but didn't know if it would be right or not. The fact of him laying next to her, was making her so happy, she just wanted this moment to last.
" Sebastien, I have something to tell you." Alex replied as she looked back into his eyes again.
" What is it?" Sebastien asked, his voice sounding concerned.
" I ... it's just that." Alex paused she just couldn't do it, she didn't have the guts, or the will power.
" Yes?" Sebastien asked, hope was sounding evident in his voice.
" Thank you, for staying with me." She replied, almost relecutantly. Ashamed that she couldn't say what she wanted to.
" You're welcome." Sebastien smiled. " Now why don't you close your eyes I will see you in the morning."
" How will I know you will stay here? What if you get up and leave once I'm asleep?" Alex asked.
" Here." Sebastien replied softly as he placed his hand ontop and inside of hers, intertwining their fingers together. " That way if I move, you will can feel me leave."
" Okay." Alex replied, slightly smiling.
" I'm not going anywhere. I promise." Sebastien said gently, looking into her eyes.
Alex smiled as she looked up at him, how great he was to her. This moment made her forget all about what had happened, all her troubles were going away, all of this felt so good, she didn't want this moment to ever go away.
Alex soon drifted to sleep right after looking into Sebastien's eyes, right after he smiled at her with such kindess, right after he placed his hand into hers, right after she for the first time felt like she was loved again.
