| The morning sun peaked through the buildings and shone on the side walk as everyone stood outside, waiting for everyone to be ready with the equipment. The oranges, pinks, and blues filled the clear sky as everyone hustled to get everything ready for the photo shoot. Alex, Ingrid, and Carla sat on a stair case of an old building waiting patiently for everyone to get done so they can do their jobs. It was Monday, and already everything was in a rush. Alex and her two other photographers were chatting as they continued to wait, they knew today would be a hectic day, it would be the week where the recordings would start, and the shots would be taken. Alex would catch herself wondering where Sebastien was as she would sit there and wait, thinking of how this photo taking thing was going to work. Was she going to take shots of all four? Then Ingrid and Carla would? Or would be something different? Whatever the case, Alex couldn't wait to see Sebastien again. The night that he had stayed with her was the most wonderful night she had ever experienced. Sebastien did keep his promise, and when she woke up the next morning, he was still laying there next to her, slightly snoring in his own sleep, with there hands still clasped together. Alex had to admit that she had never felt more rested, and she was happy that she could wake up next to him. Alex thought about the dream she had that night, it wasn't a nightmare, nore a fairytail dream. It was something strange that she couldn't get out of her mind and it was something she had to think about over and over again. She closed her eyes as she slightly tilted her head downward, trying to remember every detail of the dream she had that night, trying to make sense of it... and what it exactly meant.... She was reading a favorite magazing of hers on her own bed, in her own home once and a while glancing at the tv that was flickering with it's glare, birghtening up the room that night. She placed her magazine to the side of the bed and yawned, she was extremely tired, and depressed. Her and Sebastien had just broken up, he was the best thing that ever happened to her and she still had all of this news to soak into her head.
She reached lazily for the remote and turned the flicking television off, it had been a long night and she needed to get some sleep. Alex reached over and placed the remote on her nightstand, rolling over to her side afterwards, her hand undernieth her pillow. The moon brightly lit her broad figure and her face as she looked out the window, and onto the bright star. Tears streamed down her face, she was alone, she never wanted to be alone, and she now was. She exhaled deeply and closed her eyes as she tried to get as much sleep as possible.
She kept her eyes closed, even though she couldn't sleep, it was the best thing she could do at the moment. She layed on the bed in her sadness as she soon felt two broadly built arms wrap around her from behind. She shook slighlty as she felt someones lips touch her bare shoulder.
" I missed you so much." She smiled, feeling herself starting to relax.
" I've missed you too baby."
" It's been so long since someone had held me this close." She could feel herself tear up with joy as his arms became tighter around her.
" I'm always holding you baby. No matter if you can see me or not. I will always be on myside of the bed." He replied, placing his lips on the back of her neck.
" You should start showing yourself more, it hurts to be lonely." She replied.
" You're not lonely baby." He replied. " There is someone, you just have to give him a chance."
" And who would that be?" She replied, slightly shifting her head to the side to look at him.
" I think you know who." He chuckled.
" If you haven't known, he cheated on me. That's all there is too it." Alex replied, her tone sounding a little irritated.
" Oh baby, do you think that Sebastien would truly do something like that?" He said softly, lightly kissing her bare shoulder again.
" I don't know, people can be surprising sometimes." Alex shrugged, lightly shaking at his touch.
" Will you take my advice just once?" He asked, knowing how her attitude was, he wouldn't let her say anymore. " Give him a chance baby, I promise you, if you do, you won't be dissapointed."
" How do you know for sure. You're the only man who has treated me right." She replied tearfully.
" Just trust me baby, okay?" He replied softly, placing his lips on the back of her neck. " I know you still love him."
" Please." She stiffled a chuckle. " You're the only man that I truly love."
" Well, I can understand that." He smiled. " But you love him, and it's okay ... you need someone."
" And what makes you think I love him?"
" You're eyes." He brought his lips to her ear, whispering softly the words. " You're eyes don't lie."
" What?" She asked, confused. " What do you mean?"
" I think it's time for you to sleep baby, it's been a long night for you." He smiled, placing his chin lightly on her bare shoulder.
" Wait, tell me what you mean."
" You will soon find out." He smiled again. " Now go to sleep baby."
" Will you stay here with me? Just tonight?" Alex asked, almost not wanting him to let her go.
" I'm always here baby. Holding you everynight." He whispered in her ear, his voice so gentle. " Good night baby. Remember that I love you."
"I love you too, Brian." |
