| Chapter 75: Home… While Bridget was checked out by a doctor, Urs went back to the waiting room. The others looked up when he came in. “Is she ok?” David asked. “Ja. I think so. Just really shaken up.” He nodded. “That’s understandable. I called the girls and Simon.” Seb said. “Thanks.” Urs sank down in a chair and looked at his trembling hands. “He killed her mother.” “What?” the three others looked at him. He nodded. “Ja… I don’t know what happened, but that’s what she said… Anyway, I hope everything is over now. That we can get back to normal.” Carlos sat down next to him. “She’s back. That’s the most important thing right now.” Simon rushed in. “Where is she? Is she ok? Is she hurt? What did he do to her?” Urs smiled at him. “She’s fine. They are checking her, just to be sure.” “Thank God.” Simon sighed and sank down next to Urs. “I never liked that guy. I knew there was something about him.” “Well, I hope they keep him in jail for a very long time.” Urs said. “Yeah… His house was full with pictures of her. A maniac! And the police told me he killed Helena…” Simon clenched his fists. David squeezed his shoulder. “He’ll be punished.” “Yeah, he’d better be. Or else I’m… Anyway… The girls are packing your bags. Sophia’s plane is taking the two of you to Switzerland the minute Bridget gets released.” Simon smiled. Urs frowned. “But… the interviews and…” “You two have been through enough. Get away for a while. And don’t worry about a thing.” Simon patted his back. “Mr. Bühler, Miss Mason is asking for you.” The doctor said when he came in. “Is she ok?” Urs stood up. The doctor smiled. “Yes. She’s not hurt, just very shaken up. She might be a little clingy the next few days. The best cure is some TLC.” “I don’t mind. Not at all.” Urs said. “Can I take her home now?” “Yes. I’ll take you to the ward.” Bridget looked up when Urs came in and smiled. “Hi Liebling. Shall we go home?” he asked, tenderly stroking her cheek. She nodded. “Yes, please.” A nurse wheeled in a wheelchair. “I can walk.” Bridget protested. Urs picked her up and put her in the chair. He kissed her forehead. “Shh…” The guys all jumped up when Urs wheeled her into the waiting room. Carlos kissed her cheek. “Are you alright?” “I’m fine. Thanks, Carlos.” She nodded. David hugged her. “It’s good to have you back.” Seb nodded and hugged her as well. “You gave us quite a scare.” Simon stepped forward and looked intently at her. “Are you sure you are alright, sweetheart?” “I’m fine, Simon. Honestly. I just want to go home and take a shower.” She looked up at Urs. “Can we go now?” “Of course.” He nodded. David drove them home. Bridget sat in the back on Urs’ lap, her head resting on his shoulder. He softly stroked her back and held her close. He was still tensed, like he couldn’t believe it was finally over. At home, the girls waited for them. Bridget noticed the suitcases. “What is this?” she asked Urs. “We are going away for a few days. Is there anything else you want to take with you?” he asked. “My Mum’s diary.” She looked at Urs. “Can I take a shower first?” “The plane is ready.” Sophia said. “The sooner you get there, the sooner you can get over all this.” Urs touched her cheek. “We’ll be there in a few hours.” “Ok.” She sighed. “I’m just gonna grab the diary.” He bit his lip and watched her as she walked to the bedroom. “She’s pretending.” “She’ll be fine once you’re in Switzerland.” Sophia said. “I hope so.” Urs turned to her. “Thank you so much, once again. I don’t know how we can thank you for everything you did. Not only today, but…” “It’s ok. That’s what friends are for. You take good care of her. Make her feel loved.” She kissed his cheek. He nodded. “I will.” 3 hours later, they arrived at the cabin. Bridget had slept all through the flight, and fell asleep in the car again. Urs went in, turned on the lights, put the luggage inside and went back to the car to get her. He gently swept her in his arms. “Urs…” “We’re home, sweetie. Just relax.” He whispered. She sighed and nuzzled his neck as he brought her to their bedroom. When he lay her on the bed, she opened her eyes. “Let me take a shower first.” “Sweetie…” “Please, Urs. I feel so dirty. I… I want to get rid of him.” She said, tears forming in her eyes. Urs swallowed. “Ok. Do you mind if I join you?” She shook her head. “No.” It was a quick shower. Bridget vigorously scrubbed her body, trying to get rid of the memories. Afterwards Urs wrapped her in a large fluffy towel and brought her to the bedroom. They got under the covers and she nestled in his arms with a huge sigh. “I’m so tired.” “Rest, Liebling. We’ll talk in the morning.” He kissed her forehead and held her tight. He felt her dozing off. His arms still held her close. The thought that he almost lost her for a second time was just too much. It took him a long time before he finally fell asleep, holding on to her. _________________ 100% Siren & Sébaholic |

| Chapter 76: Back to reality After Bridget and Urs had left, the others went home. “What a day.” Seb sighed, as he closed the door behind him. “You can say that again.” Sophia kicked off her shoes. “I’m so glad she’s alright!” “Oui. Me too.” He sank down in the couch and looked at her. “Why don’t you get some rest?” “You know what I really want to do?” she asked. He shook his head. “Non…” “Decorate the nursery. I got some great ideas. Look…” she picked up a magazine from the coffee table and showed it to him. “I don’t know…” he took the magazine out of her hands and looked through it. “This is beautiful! Let’s take this one.” “Animals? No, Seb. I want the sports’ theme.” She said. “It’s a baby. It should be cute and sweet.” Seb said. Sophia sighed. “Look, Seb… Tom liked sports and…” “Of course. How could I forget? Tom…” he mumbled. “What’s that supposed to mean?” Sophia stood up. “Are you gonna keep reminding me it’s his baby?” he asked. She threw her hands in the air. “It is HIS baby. It will always be. You may be my partner and a father to this child, but his real father is Tom!” she yelled. Seb tried to control his anger. “A father to this child… Is this how it’s gonna be? Are you gonna tell that to your son when he gets older? Then I am just a father to him?” “That’s not what I meant.” She sighed. “Non? Then what do you mean?” Seb snapped, standing up as well. “Are you going to thread our children in different ways? OUR children and YOUR son?” “Seb, please…” Tears gathered in her eyes. He shook his head. “Merde. Why are we fighting? I’m sorry, Chérie. I think the emotions of the last couple of days are getting to us.” He gently took her in his arms, kissing away her tears. “Je t’aime, Sophie.” “I love you too, Seb.” She whispered. He kissed her and love took over. After a while Seb picked her up and carried her to their bedroom. Their lovemaking was sweet and hungry at the same time. Afterwards, he stroked her back. “We’ll go for the sports’ theme. But can I at least buy him a giraffe? Or an elephant?” he asked pouting, his eyes glistening with mischief. Sophia laughed out loud. “You can buy him anything you want!” As Lorna prepared dinner, she heard David laughing. He was talking to Steph on the phone. “That would be great! Maybe we can take him to the zoo. … Ok, I’ll talk to you soon. Bye Steph.” “What’s for dinner?” he asked when he got into the kitchen. She shrugged. “Pasta. I didn’t feel like cooking.” “Great.” He opened the cupboard and took out the dishes. “I’ll set the table.” “Ok.” “You ok?” David asked. “Fine.” He took her in his arms. “Lorna, what’s wrong?” “Do you regret marrying me? Is it Stephanie the one you want to be with?” she whispered. “Cupcake! Of course not! I love you! Steph is just a friend. And the mother of my son. That’s all.” He hugged her. “I know, but…” she bit her lip. “She’s the mother of your first born. And I was so happy when I was pregnant. The thought of having your baby… David, I don’t want to loose you. I can’t do this on my own.” “You’re not alone, Babe. You want loose me. I am so happy that you are carrying my child. Our child. Yes, I have a son, but that doesn’t mean I’m gonna love our child any less.” He gently kissed her, till he tasted her salt tears. “You’re tired, aren’t you? We all are. Maybe we should just go to bed.” Lorna nodded. “I feel so sorry for Urs and Bridget. The poor girl has been through so much.” “I know.” David picked her up. “Let’s get an early night.” “You’re awfully quiet.” Ulva said while they were having dinner. “I’m sorry, Querida.” Carlos pushed his plate away. “I’m not hungry.” “What’s wrong?” she asked. He sighed. “You know, I’ve been working with them for 3 years now. And we had our differences. Differences? Well, you could call them fights. We are all very different. But what happened these last few weeks…” Carlos shook his head. “I’ve never seen Urs like that. Never! He’s always so… distant. Almost cold. And now… Bridget has really changed him. In a good way.” He stood up and walked to the window. “She changed us all. She made us see that we are friends. Or even family. Urs and I never got along. But seeing him like that… And I know the others feel the same.” Ulva stood up and came over to him. She took his hand and squeezed it. “You’re a good man, Carlos Marin.” “Te quiero.” He smiled, kissing her. “I love you too.” He put his arms around her and looked her in the eyes. “I always dreamt we would be together again. But I never dared to hope so.” “I’m not going anywhere.” She smiled. “Unless…” “Unless?” he frowned. “The bedroom?” she winked. Carlos laughed and took her hand. “I’ll race you!” _________________ 100% Siren & Sébaholic |

| Chapter 77: The thruth Urs woke up and looked at the clock. It was almost noon. Bridget was still asleep, nestled firmly in his arms. After a while she woke up, blinking her eyes a few times. She looked up at him and smiled. Neither of them spoke. They just lay in each others’ arms, looking into each others’ eyes, trying to read the others’ mind, stealing a kiss now and then. Bridget’s hand stroked his chest. Urs felt she was struggling with her feelings and was gathering her thoughts and he gave her that time. When he felt her tears on his chest, he pulled her even closer. “I was so scared. I thought he would kill me. And then I thought about you and that I probably hadn’t told you enough how much I really loved you. I love you, Urs. I love you so much.” She whispered. Urs allowed his own tears to fall. “I know what you mean, Liebling. I thought I lost you. And that I would never be able to hold you again. And that you would never know how much I loved you. That I hadn’t said it enough.” He whispered. He claimed her mouth. “I love you. And I don’t want to spend another minute without you. Marry me, Bridget. I know this is probably the most unromantic proposal ever, but I mean it. Marry me and spend the rest of your life with me.” “Yes.” She said softly. “Yes, I’ll marry you.” He kissed her again. Hungry, demanding, desperate. Their lovemaking was frantic and hurried so that they fell asleep again, in each others arms, still as one. A few hours later, Urs quietly got out of bed. He put on his boxers and went downstairs. He was preparing something to eat, when he felt her arms around him. “Hey sleepyhead.” She smiled at him, her hair still messed up, wearing nothing but his shirt. “You tired me out.” “Are you complaining, Miss Mason?” he joked. “Not at all.” She gave him a sweet kiss. “I’m hungry.” He raised an eyebrow. “Really?” “For food. I haven’t eaten since…” she bit her lip. “It’s coming right up.” He kissed her forehead. “Sit down. The table is set.” “My hero.” Bridget winked. Urs watched her as she hungrily ate her dinner. “He didn’t give you anything?” “He did, but I didn’t touch it. I didn’t trust it. I drank a little water, that’s all.” She shrugged. He took her hand and laced his fingers with hers. “I have to get you a ring.” “I don’t need a ring.” She smiled. “Yes, you do. I want everyone to know you belong to me.” He softly kissed her hand. “When and where would you like to get married?” “To be honest… I would love to get married here. In Switzerland. I don’t have any family left, so…” she shrugged. “Liebling, there is something you should know.” He stood up, and pulled her with him. “Let’s go to the lounge.” “What is it? You’re scaring me.” He smiled at her. “It’s nothing bad. I would even say it’s good.” He pulled her next to him on the couch. “Please, tell me.” “I think I know who your father is.” He said. She frowned. “What? But…” “Remember the drawings your mother made? You said he looked familiar…” Urs continued. She nodded. “I think it’s Simon.” “Don’t be ridiculous! It can’t be Simon!” she said. Urs took her hand. “Sweetie… When your Mum died, we called Simon to make the arrangements. Afterwards he told me that he thought you were his daughter. He knew your mother when they were teenagers. And the dates match.” Bridget pulled back her hand and stood up. “No! It can’t be! Why hasn’t he ever said anything?” “Because he didn’t know till now.” Urs said. “And you knew this and didn’t tell me?” “You had enough to deal with already.” He got up and took her hands. “You brought your Mum’s diary?” “Yes.” She nodded. “Maybe you should start reading it. There might be something in there.” He suggested. Urs quietly sat in the lounge, watching Bridget as she was reading. The emotions he saw on her face, tore his heart. Sometimes she smiled, sometimes she cried. He saw the hurt and sadness and wanted to take it away. Hours passed. She finally closed the book and held it to her chest, sobbing quietly. “Oh Mummy…” Urs immediately rushed over to her and held her close. “Shh honey…” “It’s true. Simon is my father…” she choked out. “Simon is a great guy. And you two get along well.” Urs said. “I never pictured him as a dad, but when I saw how worried he was about you…” “He was?” she sniffled. “Yes, he was. When we get back home, you should talk to him.” He said. “Will you go with me?” she looked at him. He smiled when he looked in the green eyes he fell in love with. “Of course I will. I’m not letting you out of my sight for a minute.” “I love you, Urs.” His hands slipped under her t-shirt and he gently pulled it off. His actions said more then a thousand words. Satisfied they fell asleep on the couch, their hearts and mind full of love. _________________ 100% Siren & Sébaholic |

| Chapter 78: Heaven The next day, Urs and Bridget went to visit his parents. His mother had invited his sisters and brother to come over for dinner and was only to happy to have Bridget around to help her. When they finished lunch, Urs looked at Bridget. “Would you mind if I went to the city? I have to pick up something.” “I… I guess not.” She shrugged. Urs saw the flash of fear and took her in his arms. “You’re safe here, Liebling. No one will find you here.” “I know.” She nodded. “Just… Don’t be too long.” He gently kissed her. “I won’t.” Most dinner preparations were finished and Maria smiled at Bridget. “Why don’t you get some rest? You look a little pale.” She nodded. “Yes, the last days were… Tiring.” “Urs’ room is ready.” Maria nodded. “I’ll wake you up later.” “Thank you.” She kissed Maria’s cheek. An hour later, Bridget was still awake. She couldn’t sleep. She heard noises that she didn’t recognise and although she knew she was safe there, she still felt a little uncomfortable. And then she heard it. Soft footsteps were approaching the room. She held her breath and saw the door slowly opening. She panicked and jumped out of bed, running to the big closet, closing the door behind her. She hugged her knees and put her hands over her ears, trying to shut out the world. Lisa softly opened the door and peeked in. She frowned when she didn’t see Bridget. “Bridget?” There was no answer. “Bridget?” she said a little louder, but still nothing. Lisa went to the bathroom and knocked the door. She was greeted by silence. She searched the whole floor, but didn’t find Bridget. “Mutti, I thought you said Bridget was upstairs.” Lisa said as she came back in the kitchen. Maria nodded. “Yes, she’s resting in Urs’ room.” “No, she’s not. I searched the whole floor and she’s not there.” “She’s not there? I better call Urs then.” Maria said. Half an hour later, they heard a car breaking hard. Urs stormed in. “What do you mean she’s gone?!” Lisa shook her head. “I don’t know. I went upstairs to check on her and…” Urs ran up the stairs, taking two steps at a time. “Bridget! Bridget, where are you????” He opened the door to his room and yelled again. “Bridget, Liebling…” He held his breath when the door to the closet opened. There she was, sitting on the bottom, tears running down her cheeks. “I’m sorry…” “Oh Liebling!” He crouched beside her and hugged her tight. “I’m sorry. I’m such an idiot. I heard someone sneaking around and…” she sniffled. “It’s ok, sweetie. It’s ok.” He rocked her in his arms. “I should have told them to make more noise.” “I’m such a fool.” She whispered. He shook his head. “No, sweetie. After everything you’ve been through it’s only normal.” He helped her to get up and kissed her forehead. “I have a surprise for you after dinner. Why don’t you get a shower and dress up a little?” “A surprise? What kind of…” “It wouldn’t be a surprise if I would tell you, would it?” he pushed her to the bathroom. “Chop chop.” After dinner, Urs took Bridget for a walk. They left through the backdoor and walked hand in hand through the meadows. Bridget heard water running and looked at him. “Are we going to the river?” “Not exactly. You’ll see in a minute.” He squeezed her hand. Her breathe caught when they got to the waterfall. “Oh my God…“ “One of my favourite places. This was my special place when I grew up. I came here to think or to day dream.” He pointed to a large stone. “Sit down for a minute.” Bridget sat down and looked at the environment. The green grass, the flowers, the water, the sun shining on it… “I said your cabin was paradise, but this…” Urs kneeled in front of her and took her hands. “Bridget, you know that I love you with all my heart. My heart, body and soul are yours and yours only. Will you spend the rest of your life in paradise with me? Bridget Mason, will you marry me?” he took a small box out of his pocket and opened it. She gasped. “Urs!!!” “That’s why I needed to go to the city. I had to get you an engagement ring.” He slipped it on her finger. “You already said yes, so I hope you didn’t change your mind.” Tears ran down her cheeks as she put her arms around his neck. “It is still a yes. I love you so much, Urs.” He gently kissed her, pulling her body close to his. “Ich liebe dich.” Bridget deepened the kiss and her hands slipped under his shirt. She felt his muscles tense as she stroked his back. “Make love to me Urs.” She breathed against his lips. In the rays of the sunset, they made love. They created a world of love and passion. A world that was theirs, and theirs only. _________________ 100% Siren & Sébaholic |

| Chapter 79: Heroes “Urs just called. He proposed to Bridget and they are getting married on 31th August.” Seb beamed. “That’s great! Oh, I’m so happy for them!” Sophia smiled. Seb nodded. “Oui. And he says they found the perfect place. They want to have an outdoor wedding. At a waterfall.” “Aww… So romantic! Bridget deserves it. After everything she’s been through…” Sophia looked at her bump. “I just hope I can find a nice dress. I’m getting fat.” “You’re not fat! You’re pregnant.” Seb hugged her. “And very, very sexy.” “Seb, are you sure you don’t mind living here? I mean, I know how much you love your apartment and…” “Chérie… We need a bigger place for the baby. And I can still go to the apartment. When you are in New York or…” he tenderly kissed her. “Yes, but this house… Tom bought it and…” He shut her up with a kiss. “I really don’t mind. And now I have to go. I have an appointment.” “Ok. I’ll see you tonight.” Sophia nodded. Simon smiled when he read Stephanie’s article. Finally something positive. He should thank her. After all she was the one who told them where Bridget was. He dialled a number and waited till his friend picked up. “Patrick? Simon Cowell. I need a favour…” “Have you seen Steph’s article?” David asked when Lorna walked in. “Oh no, not again!” she sighed. “No, no… It’s actually good.” He handed her the paper. Heroes Not Just a Song
The four men of Il Divo have proved to be true to the meaning of the word when needed most. They might sing about others who are heroes, but each one provided a key role in being modern day heroes during a horrific 24 hour period this past week.
The definition of Hero is: A man of distinguished valour or enterprise in danger and by exceptional courage and nobility and strength. Well Urs Buhler provided the perfect example of being a true hero when his girlfriend Bridget Mason was kidnapped.
When he first realized that his girlfriend was missing he went straight into action demanding that the police looked for the missing woman. Then he enlisted the help of his friends and known to the rest of the world as the other three-fourths of the group Il Divo. David Miller, Sebastien Izambard, and Carlos Marin along with their respective girlfriends went into action trying to locate Ms. Mason.
When the police turned up with evidence of Ms. Mason having been kidnapped, the search spread out and the hours of endless phone calls out of the Bühler home finally paid off. From a tip received through an anonymous source, the location of Ms. Mason's whereabouts were located.
The police was immediately notified, but after an eternity of time being spent doing nothing, Mr. Buhler and his friends weren't about to sit this out. The police made sure that they stayed out of harms way as they broke into the house to save Ms. Mason from the deranged kidnapper.
Mike Young, a fellow employee of SonyBMG and secret admirer of Ms. Mason, had kidnapped her to keep her away from Mr. Bühler. Instead, he only managed to make the bonds between them closer. As Mr. Bühler proudly announced that he and Ms. Mason are planning on getting married sometime this summer.
The police say that the quick action of Mr. Bühler and company played a large part in being able to locate Ms. Mason and assuring that her rescue took place without injury to anyone. Heroes are made every day, but rarely by the men that sing about them. In this case, we have finally found the exception to the rule in the four men known the world over as Il Divo.
Stephanie Hunter“Another wedding… Maybe they should ask you to organise it.” Carlos looked at Ulva. “Well, you heard Urs… It’s gonna be a small and intimate one.” She smiled. “That’s our Urs.” He nodded. “I think it will be very romantic.” “Yeah… And only a few close friends… You know, I love organising large weddings, but the small ones are much more romantic.” Ulva smiled. Carlos took her in his arms. “Maybe we can…” “Don’t go there, Carlos. Not yet.” She shook her head. “I understand.” He kissed her. “I think it’s time for bed.” “It’s 2h in the afternoon!” Ulva chuckled. “Siesta, Querida!” That evening Stephanie got a phonecall from the Daily Telegraph. They offered her a job and Steph was only too happy to accept it. They finally took her serious and now she got the chance to prove what she was worth at a real newspaper instead of a tabloid. _________________ 100% Siren & Sébaholic |

| Chapter 80: A father Bridget nervously clutched Urs’ hand as they walked into the SonyBMG building. Her stomach was upset and her heart racing. Urs gently put his arms around her when they stood in the elevator. “Relax, Liebling. Everything will be just fine.” “It’s so strange. I know him as my boss, not my father.” She sighed. Urs kissed her forehead. “I know, sweetie.” Simon let them in his office and told his secretary to hold his calls. Bridget still held onto Urs’ hand as she sat down on the couch against the wall. “I hear congratulations are in order.” He smiled. Urs nodded. “Yes, I asked Bridget to marry me and she accepted.” “I’m glad.” He looked at her. “Bridget, I know this whole situation is a bit awkward. For me too, believe me.” “How did you know Mum?” she asked softly. “Helena and I went to school together and we lived in the same street. We had always been good friends. And when she was 16, we started dating.” Simon smiled. “We were so much in love. Helena was everything I longed for, everything I wanted and needed. She always supported me. She knew about my dreams and she was there for me whenever I needed her.” He looked at Bridget. “When I was 18, I went to the States for a month during the summer. But when I got back, she was gone. Her mother told me she ran away from home and that she didn’t know where she was. All she left me was a letter.” Simon stood up and took a piece of paper from his desk. He handed it to Bridget. When she started reading, she knew everything he told her was true. “Dear Bear, I love you from the bottom of my heart…”Bridget swallowed her tears. “Why didn’t you look for her?” “I did. I couldn’t find her.” “She was so close, Simon.” Bridget whispered. “I know. When I hired you, I had this strange feeling. We immediately got along and you reminded me of someone, but I didn’t know who. You never told me your mother’s name. You only told me she was ill.” He looked intently at her. “When Urs told me her name after she had died, I was shocked. I thought it was a coincidence. That it was someone else with the same name. And then I saw her.” Simon took her hands. “Believe me, Bridget, if I had known, I would have been there for you. I would have supported you. Both you and your Mum. I would have paid the bills. I would have made sure you got in college and had a decent place to life.” “What do you expect from me?” she asked. “We can’t turn back time, Simon. Yes, we always got along and you are more then just my boss. But a father…” Bridget shook her head. “I don’t see you like that.” “Sweetheart, the dates match. I don’t mind getting a DNA test if that is what you want.” He said. “No, I know it’s true. I read it in my Mum’s diary. She left you because she was pregnant and because she didn’t want to hold you back. She knew you would have taken care of her. And that you would have given up your dreams.” She sighed. He nodded. “And she was right.” Simon glanced at Urs. He softly stroked Bridget’s back. “Liebling, why don’t you two spend some time together? Try to get to know each other as father and daughter.” “I never knew who my father was. I have always been on my own. I took care of Mum, paid the bills, I never asked anyone for anything.” She said. “You know I like you, Simon. And I’m thankful for everything you did for me and for all the chances you gave me.” “I want to be there for you, sweetheart.” Simon said seriously. “Not just as your boss. I know I can’t make up for lost time, but… Lets just… Spend some together.” “I guess we can try…” she whispered. “But this changes so much.” “I know.” He nodded. “And working for you… I… How can I now that you are my father?” she shook her head. Simon smiled at her. “Nothing changes about that. We’ve always worked together. We are a good team, Bridget.” She stood up. “I need some time.” “Of course.” Simon nodded. He shook Urs’ hand. “Urs, I can’t imagine a better husband for her then you. Take good care of her.” Bridget was already at the door, but she turned around when she heard his words, tears in her eyes. “Simon…” she swallowed. “Will you give me away, Daddy?” “I would be honoured.” He nodded, a lump forming in his throat. Bridget came back to him and hugged him. “I wish I had known.” “Me too, sweetheart. Me too. And I know we can’t catch up the time we lost, but from now on, you are my daughter. And I am here when you need me.” He looked at Urs. “For the both of you. And if you want a fancy wedding, I’ll arrange it.” She looked up at him and smiled. “I want the small wedding we decided on. I’m happy with that. It’s so us.” Urs nodded. “It is. Just a few close friends and relatives.” “Well, I’ll be there to walk my daughter down the aisle.” He winked. _________________ 100% Siren & Sébaholic |

| Chapter 81: Looking at the future “I’m here, cupcake. I won’t let them hurt you.” David whispered as Lorna rang the bell. She looked at him, seeing the love in his eyes. “I’m scared.” He squeezed her hand and looked serious when the door opened. “Lorna.” Jamie’s eyes spitted fire when he looked at her. “Jamie. Are Mum and Dad home?” Lorna asked. “Yeah. But I don’t know if they want to see you.” He held the door open for them. Her parents were in the kitchen and looked surprised when they saw her. “Lorna-Jane. What are you doing her?” her father asked, completely ignoring David. Lorna still held on to David’s hand. “Mum, Dad… I need to tell you something. I ehm…” David reassuringly squeezed her hand. “I’m pregnant.” Lorna said. The silence said it all. “So?” her mother asked. “So I suggest that you make it up with David and his family. You can either accept the fact that we are married or lose the chance to see your grandchild.” Lorna said firmly. John shook his head. “Lorna, as much as I want grandchildren… I don’t want them to be Millers. I’m sorry.” “Mum?” Sonia nodded. “I agree with your father.” “Right. Then it looks like David and my baby are the only family I have.” She marched out, not looking back once. David quickly followed her and helped her in the car. He sat down behind the steering wheel and looked at her. “You ok?” She nodded, swallowing back her tears. “Take me back to the hotel, please. I don’t think I can face your parents right now.” After David had dropped Lorna off and made sure she was alright, he drove to his parents’ house. They both greeted him warmly. “Isn’t Lorna with you?” Barbra asked. “She’s at the hotel. We went to see her parents and it didn’t go very well.” David sighed. “What happened?” Peter asked. David took a deep breathe. “Lorna is pregnant. We’re having a baby in the beginning of February.” “Congrats, son.” Peter patted his back. “Thanks, Dad.” He beamed. “That’s great!” his mother kissed his cheek. David hesitated. “There is something else I need to tell you.” He nervously clutched his hands and was trying to find the words. “I have a son. I had a one night stand about 2 years ago and… Well… His name is Justin. He’s really cute.” He took the picture out of his pocket and handed it to his mother. “Anyway… He’s living with his mother, but he’ll be treated the same as the child I’m having with Lorna.” For a moment his parents were quiet. But then his father cleared his throat. “Well, as I told you before… We are a family and we support each other. So whatever your decision is, we’re here for you.” Barbra nodded. “And I can’t wait to see my grandchild! You’ll be a wonderful father, David.” 3 days later, the Miller family was back in London. Lorna was still upset about her family, but she was happy that David’s family supported them. And the feud only brought her and David closer. The guys had spent most of the month August with their girlfriends and family. All of them were well rested and happy when they arrived in Switzerland for Urs’ wedding. They were all staying at a small family hotel in Urs’ hometown. The night before the wedding, Simon told them he was Bridget’s father. “No way!” David said. “I guess she has the looks of her mother. Good for her.” Carlos winked. “Marin…” “I agree.” David nodded. “Bridget is a beautiful woman. You should be very thankful, Simon!” Simon tapped his foot, trying to look serious. Seb grinned and shook his hand. “Congratulations, Simon. I think you will make a great father.” “Thanks, Seb.” He nodded. “We were only teasing.” David grinned. “You know that.” “Si… Are you giving her away tomorrow?” Carlos asked. “Yes, I am.” Simon beamed. “She will be very happy.” Sophia smiled. “This whole situation is a little awkward, but we’re getting there.” Simon said. “If I had known it, her life would have been so different.” “Everything that happened, made her the woman she is now.” Lorna said. “And Urs wouldn’t want her any other way.” Seb nodded. _________________ 100% Siren & Sébaholic |

| Chapter 82: Wedding preparations The day of the wedding, the sun was shining. Bridget smiled as she walked onto the terrace. In a few hours, she would be Mrs. Urs Bühler. She still couldn’t believe how much her life had changed in just a couple of months. She and Urs got together, her mother died, she discovered Simon was her father and now she was getting married. She looked up when Ingrid stepped out. “You were miles away.” “Yeah… I was just thinking about everything that happened.” Bridget smiled. “It have been a few rocky months.” Ingrid nodded. “Your wedding bouquet arrived. With a card.” She handed it to Bridget. “Liebling, I wanted to find the perfect bouquet for you, something very special. And I think I succeeded. I just hope you like it.
Tulips are the symbol for “The Perfect Lover” and I think we both know that is the case for us. As for the white ones… They express that you will love your partner forever. And that is what I will vow to you in just a few hours. I love you, Bridget, with all my heart. And I can’t wait for you to become my wife.
All my love, Urs.”“Oh Urs…” Tears ran down her cheeks after reading the card. “Where is it?” she whispered. “On your bed.” Ingrid winked. She went in and picked up her flowers. “It’s perfect. He’s such an amazing man.” “He sure is.” Ingrid smiled. “But we should get you ready. You don’t want to keep your fiancé waiting, right?” “No. I still can’t believe we are getting married.” She looked at Ingrid. “Ing, I want to thank you for everything you ever did for me. You are such a good friend and you’ve always been there when I needed you.” She hugged her. “And I’m so happy you are here today and that you agreed to be my maid of honour.” “You are very welcome. And I’m honoured you asked me.” Ingrid took her hand. “Come on… Let’s make you even more beautiful.” While Bridget and Ingrid stayed at the cabin, Urs had decided to spend the night at his parents. He was straightening his tie in front of the mirror when there was a knock on the door. “Ja?” Maria peaked in. “Are you ready?” “Almost… My tie isn’t cooperating.” He mumbled. She smiled and walked to her son to finish the job. “There you go. You look very handsome.” “Danke, Mutti. And thank you for all the efforts you put in to arrange this.” He kissed her cheek. “I’m so happy that we are getting married here.” “Me too. And I know you and Bridget will be very happy.” She nodded. “We decided to move into the cabin. We’ll keep my apartment in London, but we’ll be here most of the time. Or we’ll buy a house once we get children. She’s gonna talk to Simon about her job.” Urs beamed. “Good. Well, let’s go. Your bride will be here soon.” Urs offered his arm to his mother and they walked out together. The afternoon sun made the place at the waterfall look like a fairytale. Urs’ parents, his sisters, their husbands and Steve were seated, while Felix stood next to his brother, together with the other guys. Urs turned to his friends. “Thanks, guys, for being here today.” “We wouldn’t want to miss this for anything in the world.” Seb smiled. The spring quartet began to play and Urs took a deep breath. It was time. Ulva appeared first, followed by Lorna. Both girls wore a strapless black dress with a white ribbon. Lorna’s bump was just starting to show and David grinned happily. Sophia was next. She wore a simple black dress that showed off her pregnancy. Seb beamed. He knew she hated being fat, but on the other hand she enjoyed being pregnant. Ingrid was maid of honour and the last one to walk down the aisle. She kissed Urs on the cheek and whispered. “She looks so beautiful.” “Danke.” He winked. “Are you ready?” Simon looked at Bridget. She nodded. “I only wish…” “That your mother was here. I know, sweetheart. But she is with us today. She’s watching you from up there and I know that she is very proud.” Simon squeezed her hand. “I’m grateful that you are here and that you want to do this.” Bridget smiled. Simon gave her a hug. “I’m honoured. And I can’t let my beautiful daughter walk down there all by herself, can I?” “I guess not.” She grinned. “Let’s go. I think that the Swiss guy will be getting nervous by now.” Simon offered her his arm and together they came into view. _________________ 100% Siren & Sébaholic |

| Chapter 83: A fairytale wedding Felix squeezed Urs’ shoulder when the musicians started the bridal march. All guests turned to see Bridget. Urs gasped when she appeared on Simon’s arm. She looked like a princess. Her strapless white dress had a lace motive on the skirt and it came back in the train as well. Urs swallowed and blinked a few times. Simon proudly walked her to the front and kissed her cheek. He shook Urs’ hand. “Make her happy, Urs.” “I will.” He nodded, before taking his brides hand. The love in her eyes made his heart jump. “I love you.” He mouthed. She squeezed his hand, trying hard to keep back her tears. The ceremony was simple, but so emotional that all the women were crying. Seb smiled at Sophia. He hoped that they would stand there one day. Simon looked at his beautiful daughter. She reminded him so much of Helena. The way she smiled and looked at Urs. It was like history repeated himself. Although he never had the chance to marry her. His heart ached every time he thought about how close she had been. When it was time for the vows, Urs took both of Bridget’s hands. “My sweet Bridget. You captured my heart that very first day Simon introduced you to me. It took me almost 3 years before you finally gave in. And during those years, I got to know you as a strong and determined woman. A woman that is caring and sweet, a woman that I love. My heart, body and soul belong to you, Bridget, and to you only. I will stand by your side every single day, through happiness and sadness. We will live our dreams together and chase away the nightmares. I love you no matter what.” Urs wiped away Bridget’s tears with his thumb. She smiled at him before she began to speak. “Urs. I still cannot believe how you changed my life. I don’t know how I would have survived these last months without you. You are my rock, my soul mate, my best friend and my lover. My heart, body and soul belong to you, Urs, and to you only. I will stand by your side every single day, through happiness and sadness. We will live our dreams together and chase away the nightmares. I love you no matter what.” Alex handed Urs the rings and his hand trembled when he slipped it on Bridget’s finger. “I give you this ring as a symbol of my love for you. Let it be a reminder that I am always by your side and that I will always be a faithful partner to you.” Bridget repeated the words while she gave Urs his ring. And then the priest said the words they had been waiting for. “You may kiss your bride.” Urs tenderly cupped her face and looked her in the eyes. “I love you so much.” He softly kissed her, before pulling her close. For a moment they were lost in their own world, till the applause made them look up. Urs grinned and took his brides’ hand. They slowly walked back to his parents’ house. “Urs… Thank you.” He looked at her. “Why are you thanking me?” “I know you weren’t fond of marriage and…” she bit her lip. “Liebling…” he gathered her in his arms. “I love you. Everything changed when we started dating. I realised I didn’t want to spend another day without you. And the idea that you are my wife makes me very happy.” “You make me happy too.” She gently kissed him. “Ok, lovebirds… The wedding night is still hours away!” David teased. Urs family had decorated the garden for the party. Little lights hung in the trees, the long table was decorated with candles and flowers,… “Mutti!” Bridget hugged her. “This is so beautiful! Thank you so much!” “You’re very welcome.” She smiled at her son. “You like it, Urs?” “I love it!” he kissed her cheek. “Danke.” The food was great and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. After the main dish, Simon stood up and lightly tapped his glass. “I’m not gonna give a long speech, but I do want to say a few words.” He looked down at Bridget. “Bridget, just a few weeks ago I found out you are my daughter. And you can’t imagine what an unbelievable feeling that is. I wish I had known earlier. Everything would have been so different. But we can’t change the past, so let’s toast to the future. I know you and Urs will be very happy together. He’s an amazing man and I can’t think of anyone better for you.” He raised his glass. “To Urs and Bridget.” “Urs and Bridget!” the others said. Urs shook Simon’s hand. “Thank you, Simon. It means a lot.” A few minutes later, Lisa and Hilde came out with the cake. Urs and Bridget cut it together before feeding each other little bits. Seb was talking to David and Carlos and didn’t pay any attention to his plate. Sophia took advantage of it and snatched Seb’s piece of his plate while he wasn’t looking. When he finally wanted to take a bite, he noticed his cake was gone. “My cake! Where… Who…?” he looked at Sophia. “Have you…?” “My son was hungry.” She said innocently. “I’m hungry too!” he looked at Bridget. “Bridget! She stole my cake!” The others laughed when he pouted. “Come here, Sebastien.” Maria smiled. “There is still enough to feed an army.” She cut him a big slice and he sat down next to her at the table. “You stay away from my cake!” he glanced at Sophia. She just shook her head and laughed with the others. Urs put an arm around Bridget. “Happy, Liebling?” Her eyes said it all. “Very.” “How about a dance?” She nodded and he led her to the area they made for dancing. The guys lined up around them and the music started. Bridget recognised ‘Everytime’ and sighed. “Oh Urs…” Urs softly sang the words to her, his eyes never leaving hers. When the song ended, he kissed her tenderly. “Ich liebe dich.” “I love you too. And I have a surprise for you. I just hope you’ll like it.” She smiled. “What is it?” She bit her lip. “I’m pregnant.” _________________ 100% Siren & Sébaholic |

| Chapter 84: Miracles Urs starred at Bridget and then a hug grin appeared on his face. “Mein Gott!” “It must have happened the night after the kidnapping. I didn’t know if you would be happy. I was so nervous and…” she rambled on. He claimed her mouth, crushing her to his chest. “I am happy! Very happy! Oh Liebling! You know how much I love children.” He turned to the guests. “I’m gonna be a father!” Everyone surrounded them and wanted to congratulate them. Simon tried to look serious. “First I find out I’m father and now you’re already making me a grandfather…” David chuckled. “You’re getting old!” “Behave Miller!” He turned to Bridget and hugged her. “You have to take good care of yourself now.” She nodded. “I will, Dad.” “Dad… Still have to get used to that.” He grinned. “And soon it will be granddad.” Urs patted his back. “And all because of a Swiss man…” Simon shook his head. “We have to go for your scan next week.” David swayed to the music with Lorna in his arms. “Yeah. I can’t wait to find out what it is.” She smiled. “It’s a boy. Justin will like that. A little brother to play with.” He grinned. Lorna frowned. “Justin?” “Well yeah… They are brothers in a way…” Lorna shrugged. “Well, I know it’s a girl. I feel it.” “If it’s a boy we’ll call him David. And if it’s a girl... Davida.” David day dreamed. “You got to be kidding me! David for a boy is ok, but for a girl…Katie or Rosie.” Lorna smiled. “And how about Daniel or Jason for a boy?” “Jason, Justin… Two J’s… yeah. So for a girl we should have Jeanie or Julia.” David nodded. “No way! Alexia.” “Love that one.” Seb said, dancing beside them with Sophia. “Are you eavesdropping, Izambard?” David tried to look stern. “Maybe just a little. Go on, this is interesting.” He chuckled. Lorna smiled. “Thomas for a boy and Madelaine for a girl.” “Madelaine? That sounds like a cookie.” Seb laughed. “Hey! Don’t give my husbands pet name to my daughter!” Lorna said. “Babe! You’re ruining my image!” David pouted. “Well, ‘cookie’… See you later!” Seb laughed out loud as he danced away. “It was a beautiful wedding.” Carlos smiled at Ulva. “It sure was. I couldn’t have done it any better.” She nodded. “You think we will ever…” She shrugged. “Ask me again in 10 years or so.” “10 years? I’ll be 50 by then!” Carlos said disappointed. “And even more handsome then you are now.” Ulva lighly kissed his lips. “And hopefully still in good shape.” He pulled her close. “How about we go back to the hotel?” “And be the first ones to leave?” she asked. “Si!” he grabbed her hand and walked over to Urs and Bridget. “Urs, we’re going. Ulva is tired.” “I’m not…” Urs laughed and shook his head. “Carlos, you’ll never change.” He hugged his friend. “Thanks for coming.” “You’re welcome. And enjoy the wedding night!” he waved as they ran off. It was late when Urs and Bridget finally made it back to the cabin. Urs swept her in his arms and carried her over the threshold. “Welcome home, Frau Bühler.” She smiled. “That sounds so good.” “I know.” He tenderly kissed her while he carried her upstairs. Bridget reached for the door handle and the minute the bedroom door opened, they were greeted by hundreds of balloons. “Now I know where David and Alex sneaked off to!” Urs laughed. “At least they didn’t put anything in our bed.” Bridget said. “Or so I hope…” Urs put her on her feet and threw back the covers of the bed. “All clear.” He looked at her and smiled. “You look so beautiful, Liebling. Bezaubernd.” “And you sound so sexy when you speak German.” She blushed. He reached out his hand. “Come here, my love.” Bridget almost melted in Urs’ arms. It felt so good, so right. She knew he loved her and she finally felt like she belonged somewhere. That she had found her home. “I love you.” She whispered, as she unbuttoned his shirt. Urs kissed her gently, unzipping her dress. When the dress fell on the ground, he picked her up and lay her on the bed. “I’ll be right back.” She smiled when she saw him picking up her dress and how he hung it up. “So Swiss…” He blinky winked at her, taking off his clothes. “Let me show you some Swiss love making.” She giggled when he joined her on the bed and pulled her in his arms. “Ich liebe dich, Bridget.” His hand stroked her still flat belly. “You and that little miracle.” When she kissed him, they lost themselves in passion. They didn’t see the sun come up or didn’t her the cows that walked in the meadows. Nothing disturbed their love. They were home. They were a family. _________________ 100% Siren & Sébaholic |

| Chapter 85: Separation It’s was half September when the guys were packing their suitcases. They were leaving to Sweden to record yet another cd. “I can’t believe I already have to leave.” Seb sighed. “Are you sure you can manage?” “I’ll be fine, Snookums. And you heard the doctor. Both me and the baby are in great health.” Sophia smiled. “I know. But I don’t like leaving you all on your own, on the other side of the ocean.” Seb bit his lip. “You have a job to do, Seb. People want a new CD. And Nohemi is close if anything happens.” Sophia said. He pouted. “I don’t want to go.” Sophia put her hands on her hips. “Sebastien Izambard! You get your butt on that plane and make a beautiful CD! And don’t even try to protest, cause it won’t work!” “Mon Dieu… You are so sexy when you’re mad!” Seb pulled her in his arms and kissed her hungrily. “Seb… Your flight…” she mumbled. “I still got time.” He pushed her on the bed and quickly brought her to heaven. “Alright Mr and Mrs Miller… Would you like to find out the sex of the baby?” the doctor looked at the screen. Lorna nodded. “Yes, please.” “Well, it looks like you’re having a girl.” Dr. Snow smiled. “Perfect size and weight for 5 months.” “See… I knew it.” Lorna looked at David. “Yeah yeah…” But then he grinned. “A girl! Cool! She’ll be an ace on the Playstation. That’s the first thing I’m gonna teach her.” “Oh really? You’re not gonna do such a thing! You can teach her how to walk and talk. But I’m warning you, Miller… If her first word is ‘Playstation’, I won’t be responsible for my actions.” Lorna said determined. “Aww… Babe!” The doctor winked at him and handed him some pictures. “Here you go, Mr Miller. The first pics to show off to your friends.” “Thanks, Doc. And I’m counting on you to take good care of my wife while I’m gone.” He shook his hand. “She knows she can call me if something is wrong.” The doctor smiled. “Thank you, Dr.” Lorna smiled. “Come on, Miller. Let’s go home and pack your suitcase. And you’re gonna help me. No Playstation today!” “Yes, cupcake.” He pouted. But as they walked out he smiled widely. “I’m having a girl!” The receptionist smiled. Young fathers… She saw so many of them, and they all reacted differently. But this one sure looked happy. “You got everything?” Ulva asked, looking at Carlos’ stuff. “Si, I think so. And if not, you’ll have to come over to bring it.” He smiled. “Oh really?” “Si.” He kissed her tenderly. “You are coming to visit me, no?” “Of course I will.” She nodded. “I’ll miss you.” “I’m gonna miss you too, Carlos.” She nuzzled his neck, inhaling his cologne. “Let’s have an early night. I want to spend some time with you now that I still have the chance.” He said. Ulva took his hand and dragged him to the bedroom. “Come on, my Latin Lover! Let’s make the most of it.” “I’m glad you’re staying here in London. At least I can be here in a couple of hours if I want to see you.” Urs held Bridget close. “Yeah…” she sighed. “But I’m gonna miss you. No matter how close you are.” “Me too, Liebling. And I can’t believe that Simon arranged a tour just before you’re giving birth! You can’t even come with us then!” he said. “I just hope you’ll make it.” He kissed her forehead. “Oh I will! Don’t you worry about that! No one is gonna keep me away from you.” “Let’s not think about that. It’s still months away.” She nibbled his earlob. “You do know what an effect that has on me?” Urs groaned. She nodded. “Yes…” He flipped her on her back. “Now, Mrs. Bühler… Are we being naughty again?” “I know you love it, Mr. Bühler.” She chuckled. “I do.” He claimed her mouth and once again they proved their love for each other. _________________ 100% Siren & Sébaholic |

| Chapter 86: Nightmares The first evening in Sweden, the guys decided to have dinner at Seb’s apartment. All of them were struggling with the fact that they had to leave their women behind. “Did you go on a honeymoon after all?” Seb asked Urs. He nodded. “We stayed in the cabin for a few days and afterwards we went to Venice and Florence. It was really amazing.” Urs smiled. “We returned to London just a few days ago. What about you guys?” “Well, Sophia is staying in New York. She wants to have the baby there and the doctor told her that she shouldn’t be travelling anymore.” Seb said. “Lorna and I went for her scan. We are having a daughter.” David beamed. Carlos patted his back. “That’s nice.” “So here we are… Without the women.” Urs sighed. “It’s strange. I already miss her.” Seb said. Carlos raised his glass. “A toast. To our beautiful women… And to us… Brothers.” Urs stayed behind after Carlos and David had left. “Are you ok with Sophia having the baby in New York?” he asked. Seb sighed. “I understand that she wants to have it there. It’s just… It’s not easy, Urs. I love her very much. You know that. But it is Tom’s baby and she keeps rubbing it in.” “I’m sure it will change once the baby gets there. And I know you will love him as well.” Urs said. “Of course I will.” Seb said. “I just hope she doesn’t keep telling me that I’m not the father.” Urs shook his head. “She won’t. Give it time, Seb. You two will be a family. Trust me.” “Thanks.” He nodded. Bridget woke up with a scream. She sat up in bed, breathing heavy and sweating. She tried to control her breathing, while tears ran down her cheeks. Ever since Urs had left, she had nightmares about Mike. He haunted her every single night. She hadn’t told Urs, because she didn’t want him to worry. And Simon… She knew if she told him, he would call Urs. When nausea hit her, she jumped out of bed and ran to the bathroom. Bridget deposed her dinner in the toilet and leaned against the cold tiles of the wall. “God, Urs…” She whispered. She was still trembling when she walked to the living room. Sleeping was out of the question. If she closed her eyes, he was there. So she lay down on the couch and tried to get some rest before getting ready for work. The week was over in no time and the guys got quite some work done. Seb walked into the canteen and saw Urs starring at his phone. “Is something wrong?” “I don’t know.” Urs sighed. “I just called Bridget and she sounded so tired. So I called Simon and he said she had been at work, but yes, she did look tired. I’m worried, Seb.” “Why don’t you go over there? We can manage without you for a few days.” He said. Urs bit his lip. “Maybe I should. Just one night… To make sure she’s alright.” Urs left that evening. It was already dark when he arrived in London. He softly opened the front door and put his suitcase in the hall. When he entered the living room, a knife flashed in front of his eyes. “Hey!” he grabbed the persons’ wrist and the knife fell on the floor. “Urs...” Bridget whispered, trembling over her body. “Liebling, what the hell are you doing?” he looked at her and saw the fear and bewildered look in her eyes. Urs noticed the dark circles under her eyes and knew something was wrong. He pulled her in his arms. “I’m so scared. I thought it was him...” she sobbed. Urs lead her to the couch. “He’s in jail. He can’t hurt you anymore.” Urs held her close, rocking her in his arms. “I can’t sleep at night. I wake up, having nightmares…” she whispered. “How long has this been going on?” he asked. “Since you’ve been gone. I’m scared to go to bed, Urs. I’m sorry…” Urs sighed. “It’s ok, Sweetie. But you should have told me.” “I didn’t want to worry you.” She said, looking up at him. Urs tenderly kissed her. “Remember our vows? We’ll chase away the nightmares together…” “I know.” She nodded. “I think you should see someone, sweetie. Talk about what happened. And you are coming to Sweden with me. I’m not leaving you on your own. You have to think about our baby as well.” Urs stroked her belly. “I’m so tired, Urs.” “I know.” He picked her up and carried her to the bedroom. He put her on her feet, gently undressed her and tucked her in. “I’m gonna make a few arrangements and I’ll be right back.” “Ok.” She smiled at him. “I love you, Urs.” “I love you too, Liebling. Try to get some rest.” Urs patted her shoulder lovingly and watched as she closed her eyes. It was only then that he let the worry creep onto his face as he buried his head into his hands. How was he going to keep up the demands of the band when his wife so obviously needed him and was in such a delicate condition? Simon wouldn't want her trespassing all over the world on such a hectic schedule and truth be told he wasn't fond of having her on tour with him. The pace at which they had to live was brutal and she needed so much to care for the baby. She needed professional help to get over this situation with Mike and it was only normal. This type of thing happened all the time, but he knew he needed to be by her side. Holding her hand as she went to those sessions, making sure she rested and took good care of herself and their child. If it meant pushing aside the band, the tour, the recording, the fans, then he would. At this point what mattered most was Bridget and their child. Bridget fell asleep holding onto Urs' hand. She didn't think she'd fall asleep ever again, but having him near her was all she needed to finally let go and rest as she should. Deep down she was relieved that she didn't have to be so brave at the moment, that she didn't have to be scared. _________________ 100% Siren & Sébaholic |

| Chapter 87: Courage He groped for the phone in darkness. Everyone knew better than to call him this early in the morning, especially when he wasn't doing American Idol. A little upset he answered the phone with a gruff "Hello." "Simon?" Urs hesitated. He should have waited to call, but he didn't want Bridget to hear what he was going to tell Simon. Not that he was keeping secrets from his wife, he just wanted some privacy. "Urs? Is everything okay?" the minute Simon recognized the caller he immediately changed his tone of voice, automatically becoming the concerned father. Amazing how children changed a person. “Ja… Sort of… It’s Bridget, she…” “What happened?” Simon interrupted him, sitting up in bed. “It’s this whole ‘Mike thing’. She needs help, Simon. She almost attacked me when I got home. She’s so scared and she’s having nightmares and…” Urs rambled on. “Slow down! Take a deep breath and start at the beginning.” Simon said gently. After Urs told him the whole story, Simon was quiet for a minute. “Simon?” he asked. “Yeah… I had no idea. I mean… She looked tired, but she said it was normal because she’s pregnant.” He sighed. “I know a good psychiatrist. I’ll look up her number and call you back in the morning.” “Thanks.” Urs nodded. “You want some time off?” Urs sighed. “I would love to, but… It wouldn’t be fair towards the others. They all have someone waiting for them at home and it’s difficult for them too. I just hope… I hope I can be there for my children.” Bridget quietly went back to the bedroom. When she woke up and Urs wasn’t there, she panicked. She got out of bed and went to the living room, but stopped when she heard him talk. She knew it was Simon he was talking too. As she lay back down on the bed she started thinking. Had marriage ruined everything? Was she ruining his life? But then she thought about how much she loved him. And she realised she had to do something. She had to get control of her life again. She couldn’t depend on him for the rest of her life. 10 minutes later, Urs got back in bed and gently put his arm over her waist, his hand resting on her belly. “What time is your flight?” He froze. “I’m not going.” “Yes, you are.” She said softly. “They need you.” Urs turned her on her back, searching her eyes. “You need me.” “Yes, I do. But I can’t depend on you for the rest of my life. I’m just being a wimp and won’t let you ran off from the responsibility you have against the guys.” He opened his mouth, but she quickly put a finger on his lips. “I need to do this on my own. I need to stand on my own feet and I can’t rely on you forever. I’m gonna be a mother soon, so…” she took a deep breath. “If my mother was able to take care of me on her own, so can I.” Urs smiled. “You’ll never be alone.” He raised her hand and kissed her wedding ring. “We have a bond. And you can always rely on me.” “I know. But it wouldn’t be fair that you quit what you are doing because of your silly wife.” “Do you know how much I love you?” he kissed her. “I love you too.” That afternoon, Urs called the psychiatrist and made an appointment for the next day. “You sure you don’t want me to stay and go with you?” Bridget shook her head. “I’ll be fine. And I’ll call you afterwards.” “Ok. I’ll be back next weekend.” He smiled. Bridget drove Urs to the airport. After he checked in, he took her hand and walked to passport control. “I’m gonna miss you.” “I’ll miss you too.” She hugged him, inhaling his scent. “Come with me. You can work from there.” He whispered. “I know. But I would distract you.” Urs kissed away her tears. “God, I love you so much. Don’t you forget it.” “I won’t. Now go before I turn into a total mess.” Urs kissed her one more time, stroked her cheek and smiled. “I’ll call you when I get there.” He squeezed her hand and walked away. After his passport got checked, he turned around and blinky winked before he disappeared. “I love you.” Bridget whispered and already felt the loneliness. _________________ 100% Siren & Sébaholic |

| Chapter 88: Babysitting nightmare “Steph!” David was surprised to hear from her. “Hi David. I hope I’m not calling at a bad time.” She said. “No. I’m in Sweden, recording… You wanted to talk about something?” he asked. Steph sighed. “I… I need your help. My boss wants me to go to LA for a week and I need someone to take care of Justin. My Mum has the flu and my babysitter is out of town, so…” “Well, I am in Sweden at the moment. But I’m going home for the weekend. And maybe I can stay for three or four days. Would you mind if Lorna took care of him?” David asked. Steph hesitated. “I guess not… But he can get a little difficult when I’m not around.” “Don’t worry. Lorna is great with kids!” David assured her. “Ok. I’ll drop him off tomorrow afternoon if that’s ok?” she asked. “Sure! I’ll give her a call. Don’t you worry about a thing.” David smiled. Lorna checked the living room for the tenth time. Everything was cleaned up and she had put away all the breakable stuff. She still couldn’t believe David asked her to take care of Justin. She wouldn’t have mind if he had been with her. But she hadn’t met the boy or Stephanie yet and felt really awkward about it. She took a deep breath when the doorbell rang and plastered a smile to her face. “Hi. I’m Lorna. You must be Stephanie?” Steph nodded. “Yes. Nice to meet you. This is Justin.” The little boy on her arm held his yellow bear and looked at Lorna with big eyes. “Hi Justin.” She touched his cheek, and he buried his head on Steph’s shoulder. “He’s a little shy. Can I put him down somewhere? I have some of his stuff in the car.” “Sure. Come in.” Lorna walked to the living room where she had installed a play pen. Steph put the boy in it and when she walked to the door, he immediately began to whimper. “I’ll be right back, honey.” She smiled. Lorna followed her to the car and took some of his stuff. They put everything in the spare bedroom and Steph pointed out his favourite toys to Lorna. “And he really needs his bear when he goes to sleep.” “Ok.” Lorna nodded. Back in the living room, Steph picked up her son. “I’m gonna miss you so much.” She cuddled him for a while. “Mummy will bring you something nice. You be a good boy, ok?” she gave him a kiss and was reward with one of his wet kisses. Gently she put him back in the play pen and looked at Lorna. “I hate leaving him behind. Normally my mother takes care of him or the girl next door, but…” she sighed. “I better go now. Thank you, Lorna.” “You’re welcome.” Lorna led her out and when she came back in the living room, Justin starred at her, his bottom lip trembling. “Mummy will be back soon.” And that’s when the tears came. “Mummy… Mummy!” he sobbed. Lorna picked him up, trying to calm him down, but it was useless. She sang to him, tried to play with him, but nothing helped. In the end she put the crying boy back in the play pen and took her phone. ”Hel…” “He keeps crying, David! He wants his Mummy!” “Lorna? Calm down, Hun. Have you tried to play with him?” David asked. “Yes! It’s not working. I can’t do this!” David sighed. “Hun, please… He doesn’t know you, so he probably needs some time to get used to you. Don’t be nervous. Kids feel that.” “I know, I know. Ok, I’ll… I’ll keep trying.” She sighed. “Good. I’ll call you later. Love you.” That night, Lorna hardly slept. Justin kept crying and asking for his Mummy. He finally cried himself asleep, but early in the morning he started again. Lorna was going crazy. Her morning sickness was playing up and a crying boy didn’t really do her any good. She kept calling David and he was nervous as hell and drove the guys crazy. “Will you please go home?” Carlos begged him. “Oui. You are getting on our nerves!” Seb nodded. “Yeah, but… There is so much to do and…” “Just go home, David.” Urs said determined. David sighed. “Yeah, ok… Thanks guys.” Bridget nervously rang the doorbell. A young woman smiled when she opened the door. “Hi Bridget. I’m Indre. Nice to meet you. Please come in.” She led her to a room with large windows, overlooking a garden. “This is nice.” Bridget smiled. “I found out that most people feel comfortable here. So I’m having the sessions here.” Indre said. “Why don’t you tell me a little about yourself and why you are here?” Bridget told Indre her story. She listened to her and let her talk, once in a while asking a question. “I’m scared to go to sleep. I have nightmares every single night. And I’m so tired.” Bridget said softly. Indre nodded. “Do you have a favourite place? A place where you feel safe, some place you go to think, a special place for you and Urs maybe?” Bridget thought for a minute. “Well, there is the waterfall where we got married. It’s very beautiful, very quiet.” “I want you to think of that whenever you are scared. Imagine you are there and how you feel. Try to keep that image in your thoughts when you go to bed.” Indre said. “Ok. I’ll try.” Bridget nodded. That night, Bridget got in bed and thought about her talk with Indre. She felt so much better after talking to her. She looked at the wedding picture on her night stand, the waterfall clearly visible. “I love you.” She whispered, tracing Urs’ face with her finger. With a smile on her face she fell asleep and slept all through the night without nightmares. _________________ 100% Siren & Sébaholic |

| Chapter 89: To the rescue Lorna paced the living room, her phone clutched to her ear. “He’s driving me crazy, Ulva! And David isn’t answering his phone. He left me alone with a crying baby.” Justin was wailing, holding his teddy bear. “I’ll come over. Try to calm down.” Ulva said, grabbing her keys. David rushed to the airport. He tried to call Lorna but the phone was engaged. And her mobile was switched off. “I have to get home.” He muttered. But while he checked in, they told him his flight was delayed due to the bad weather. He took his phone out again, but it was no use. “I feel much better. And I managed to sleep all through the night.” Bridget said happily. “I’m so glad to hear it, Liebling.” Urs smiled. “So the talks with Indre are helping you?” “Yes. She’s very nice and I feel really good with her.” She nodded. “That’s good. How’s the morning sickness?” Bridget shrugged. “It comes and goes. Some days are better then others. And Simon is really cool about me coming to the office a bit later.” “That’s great. I’ll try to come over next weekend, but with David not being here… We’ll see.” He said. “Maybe I should check on Lorna.” Bridget suggested. Urs nodded. “Ja. I think she could use a little support. But David will be there soon enough, so…” “I’ll give her a call later. But I really have to go now.” She said. “Me too. I’ll call you tonight. Love you.” Urs smiled. “Love you too.” Bridget tried to call Lorna, but the phone was engaged all through the day. Lorna sat in the playpen with Justin, rocking back and forth, hugging her knees. She looked at the child, not touching him. He continued to cry, big fat tears falling down of his huge blue eyes which were rimmed with red. Lorna was sobbing herself. “David… Where are you?” She hadn’t noticed that the house phone was off the hook and her mobile was switched off because it was charching. When the doorbell rang, she slowly got up and with hanging shoulders she opened the door. “Ulva…” “Hun! You look terrible!” “He doesn’t stop crying…” she whispered. Ulva walked to the living room and picked up the crying boy. “What’s the matter with you? Why are you crying?” She cuddled the little boy and softly sang to him untill his crying died down a little. “That’s a good boy.” She looked at Lorna. “Do you have a picture of Steph?” “David has one…” She opened a drawer and took out a pic of Steph and Justin. “Look… There is Mummy.” Ulva showed the picture to Justin. He whimpered a little and touched the picture. “Mummy…” Ulva put him back in his playpen and hung up the picture. Justin kept looking at it, his bear in his arms and finally stopped crying. Lorna looked at them and ran out of the room, crying. She slammed her bedroom door. “Lorna!” Ulva went after her. “Come on, Hun…” “Leave me alone! I’m a terrible mother.” She sobbed. David drove out of the parking lot, ignoring all traffic signs. He knew he was driving faster then he should have, but he had to get home as soon as possible. When he saw the red car lights in front of him, he cursed. He braked as hard as he could and turned the steering wheel. With a loud crash, he hit a lamppost. Ulva opened the front door when she heard the door bell. “Hi… I’m Peter Miller… David’s father.” “Nice to meet you. I’m Ulva, a friend. Are they expecting you?” Ulva frowned. “No, we came to visit our grandson. David told us he was staying here.” Barbra smiled. “Right… Well, you better come in then.” In the living room, Barbra immediately picked up the little boy. “Hi there. I’m your grandmother.” Justin shrieked happily and started mumbling to her. “Where is Lorna?” Peter asked. Ulva bit her lip. “Well ehm… She locked herself in the bedroom. She was a little nervous about keeping Justin and he sensed it and cried the whole time…” “Poor thing.” Barbra shook her head. “I’ll try to talk to her later.” “Why is the phone off the hook?” Peter frowned. The minute he hung it up, it began to rang. “Miller residence. … Yes, that’s my son. … What? … Ok, I’ll be right over. ” Peter looked at his wife. “David has been in an accident. Nothing serious. He broke a toe. I’ll go and pick him up. Try to get Lorna out.” Barbra softly knocked the bedroom door. “Lorna? It’s Barbra. Open the door, honey.” She heard the soft click and Lorna peeked around the door. “God, I’m such a mess. I thought I was good with kids, but…” Barbra smiled and sat down on the bed. “Come and sit with me. I know it’s not easy to take care of a child that isn’t yours. Especially if it is your husbands and you are not the mother.” Lorna nodded. “I thought I would be able to do it, but… David is gonna be so mad.” “No, he won’t. David loves you very much. Look, Hun… Yes, David has a son with another woman, but he married you because he loves you and you are carrying his child. A child that you two will raise together.” Barbra squeezed her hand. “I know.” Lorna whispered. She looked at her mother in law. “Why are you here?” “Well, we wanted to meet Justin. And David told us he was staying here… And I wanted to see my daughter in law as well. I heard you are having a girl.” Barbra smiled. “Yes, I am.” “David is very excited about it.” Barbra looked at her. “Why don’t you go and freshen up a little. Peter and David will be home soon. “Is he picking up David at the airport?” Lorna asked. “No, at the hospital. David had a little accident.” Lorna paled. “What? What happened?” “Don’t worry. It’s nothing serious. Come on, he’ll be here soon.” _________________ 100% Siren & Sébaholic |
