At the wedding reception, Urs and Fara were inseparable. They danced closely on the dance floor. Every part of their bodies touching as they danced. Everyone seemed to be in couples at the wedding. It was like cupid had fired his arrow and everyone was caught in its gaze. David and Laura were no exception. They danced cheek to cheek at the wedding too. David held her close in his arms, feeling her heart beat next to his. He felt complete and happy. More complete than he had ever felt in his life before.
‘I love you Laura.’ he simply told her.
‘I love you David.’ she replied, gazing into his beautiful blue eyes.
‘Marry me…?’ he asked. The words seemed right. Natural. Like they were made to be asked on a day like this.
‘I…I…’ Laura stumbled over the words.
‘I don’t care if we never have a family. None of that matters. Only you being in my life, being in my arms, until the end of time matters to me.’ David reassured her.
‘Yes please.’ Laura smiled.
‘Thank you. Thank you.’ whispered David, kissing his new fiancée.

Urs so wished he could whisk Fara away to start their honeymoon but he couldn’t. They had a cake to cut plus more dancing to do as well as speeches. After cutting the wedding cake, and feeding each other a slice, and the speeches, not all clean ones either. That’s the price you paid as having Seb as your best man! ‘Because today is yours and Fara’s special day…’
‘Hey, just as long as Laura accepted then I don’t mind, and neither does Fara.’ Urs reassured him.
‘Yes. She did.’ David happily nodded.
‘Well then mate. Congratulations!’ Urs pulled his best friend into a hug.
‘Thanks…thanks…’
‘What is it mate?’ Urs then asked, sensing David wanted to speak about something else too.
‘Urs…did you and Seb ever…?’ David then mumbled.
‘Did Seb and I ever what?’ Urs asked.
‘Have…male sex?’ David finally asked in reply.
‘No.’ Urs shook his head.
‘Oh…’
‘Why?’ he then asked his friend.
‘I…I did.’ David shrugged.
‘What? With Seb?’
‘God. No. No.’ David shook his head, ‘I meant…with Laura.’
‘Oh. Right.’ Urs nodded, ‘you mean before she had her sex change?’
‘Yes.’
‘And?’
‘And…I enjoyed it.’ David admitted.
‘You did?’
‘Yes. It was…different.’
‘Different?’ Urs asked, ‘how?’

‘Mostly.’ David nodded.

‘No worries mate.’ Urs repaid the smile then he and David hugged. Briefly. Then David went to have a dance with his new fiancée and Urs went to have a long, passionate kiss with Fara. Pulling her away from Seb to do so.
‘You never kissed me that passionately…’ Seb complained.
‘I was never in love with you.’ Urs told him.
‘Could I not have a little kiss now?’ Seb then tried.
‘OK.’ Fara smiled, kissing Seb quickly on the cheek.
‘No…I meant from…’ Seb sighed.
‘Oh no. No. The only person you Sebastien Izambard will be kissing from now on, is me.’ warned Roberta, coming up from behind and hearing the conversation.
‘Robbie…’ Seb turned around to face his wife.
‘Seb.’ Roberta nodded.
‘You know I love you Robbie…’ Seb tried sweet talking her.
‘Hmmm…’ replied his wife.
‘I do. I do.’ he attempted to reassure her.
‘Then stop with wanting to kiss Urs.’
‘I was joking…’ Seb tried to laugh.
‘Urs, is happy with Fara. I thought you were happy with me.’ Roberta said, sighing.
‘I am…I am…I love you Rob.’ Seb smiled, touching her face.
‘Then come with me…and prove it that you love me.’ Roberta asked.
‘Come on then honey.’ Seb took her hand and led her away.
‘I sense trouble brewing…’ Fara said to Urs after they had gone.
‘Hmmm. Come on Mrs Buhler.’ he smiled at her.
‘Oh?’ she asked.
‘Time for the honeymoon to begin.’ Urs winked.
‘Hmmm…’ Fara smiled, ‘I have plans for you, Mr Buhler.’
‘I’m looking forward to them.’ Urs winked again, picking his bride up in his arms and carried her out of the wedding reception to applause and wolf whistles, making both Fara, and Urs blush.
