*Chapter 22*

Jodie walked off and made sure she was out of sight before she opened her hand and looked at what she had written and then smiled. She headed for her room and added it to the rest of the information she had managed to gather. She was going to start putting her plan into action soon and Auds was going to have lost everything she loved before she even realised what was happening. She was still going over everything so that she knew what to do and at what time when there was a knock on her door. She quickly hid everything under her pillow and shouted "come in." The door opened and David walked in. "Hey sis, how has your day been?" he asked. She smiled at him and said "It was lovely, I spent some time talking to Auds, she told me the story of how her and Urs met and how you guys had made them talk to each other properly." David sat down beside her and said "That's right, so much has happened to them both since then that i had forgotten about that." Jodie looked interested at this and said "What’s all happened to them?" David looked at her, not sure if he should say anything then said "Well, Auds flew home to London to give up her career so that she could be with Urs, then on her way back to us in Spain her plane crashed and she was lucky to get out alive, she had to spend 3 weeks in a Spanish hospital recovering by herself as we carried on touring, then she almost wouldn't get onto the plane when Urs and i went to pick her up after she got out. She still hates flying and just a couple of weeks ago they fell out when he started treating her really bad when she was only trying to help Seb with something personal." Jodie stared at them and said "Christ, that’s a hell of a lot of bad luck for a couple who have only been together for a couple of months." David nodded then said "But, its made them so much stronger though. Those two are made for each other. It won't surprise me at all when they announce their engagement." He never noticed the look on Jodie's face when he said that. He stood up then and said "Come out for dinner with me." Jodie shook her head and said "No thanks, I'm all right,." David said "Come on Jodes, i haven't seen you all day and i'm meeting Auds and Urs downstairs then we're going to find somewhere nice." She quickly changed her mind when she heard that and said "Okay then, give me half an hour to get ready and i'll meet you all downstairs." David smiled and then nodded and left her to it.

Urs put down his phone and turned to see Auds coming out of the bathroom wearing only a towel. He grinned and walked up behind her and pulled her back into him. He put his hand on the part of the towel she had tucked in and said "You look too hot wearing this, i shall have to remove it." then he pulled it off her and flung it on the ground behind him. She turned to face him and he just stood there for a minute staring at her body then he kissed her and pulled her closer. He put his arms round her waist and let one start wandering. Auds pulled away and picked up the towel saying "Stop, we both know what will happen if we carry on like this and we have to meet David soon." Urs pouted then said "Maybe you're right, he just phoned when you were in the shower, he's asked Jodie to come along tonight as well." Auds groaned and Urs looked at her and said "What? I thought you liked her?" Auds shook her head and said "I don't not like her, i just don't believe that she's as nice as she is making out to be, there's just something about her that doesn't seem right." Urs sighed. "No wonder the poor girl is like she is, the way that you and even David are talking about her. If people don't give her a chance then she's never going to be able to change as its going to be always flung back in her face." Auds stared at him and said "Where is this coming from?" "I've spent some time talking to her since she arrived and it just seems that she's never been given the right chances or opportunities to prove herself. I think that she is a wonderful person and that she just needs people to stop giving her a rough time." Auds opens her mouth to say something when Urs stands up and says "I'll just meet you downstairs." and walked out their room leaving her alone.

Auds finished getting ready and left their room to go meet the others. As she was waiting for the lift she heard a voice behind her. She turned to see David walking towards her and she smiled. When he reached her he said "Urs not ready yet?" Auds smile slipped and she said "We had a small disagreement about something and he walked off. He's probably downstairs waiting for us." David put his arm round her and gave her a hug then said "Don't worry, he'll be fine once he's had time to think, it was nothing too bad i hope?" The lift arrived then and they walked into it then Auds said "Nah, just a difference of opinion." The lift stopped then and they walked into the foyer. Auds stopped when she saw Urs sitting beside Jodie, she had her hand on his arm and he was laughing at something she'd said. He looked up and his smile faded when he saw David and Auds. David noticed this look between them, as did Jodie who smiled to herself, and taking Auds by the arm walked towards them and said "So, where are we going for dinner?" Auds looked at Jodie and was positive that she was smirking at her. She said "I'm not actually that hungry anymore, i'm going to stay here, you guys go and have fun though." then turned and walked back to the lift. She could feel eyes staring at her back, but she never turned round to see whose they were. She got into the lift and thought about going and talking to Sonia, but decided against it, in case she felt like Urs. She didn't know why she felt like this all of a sudden.

As they were making their way to a restaurant David tried to have a quiet word with Urs about what had happened with him and Auds, but he couldn't get near him as Jodie had seemed to attach herself to him and wasn't looking like letting go. He frowned and wondered if she had anything to do with it, he would have to talk to her later and find out. They found a place they all liked and they went in and got a table. David excused himself and went to find a quiet spot, he phoned Auds to see if she was alright. Auds having just laid down and drifted off, never answered her phone leaving David even more worried. He went back to the table and said "I'm not feeling to good all of a sudden, i don't think i could eat anything, i'm just going to head back to the hotel." Urs said "Do you want us to come back with you?" He shook his head, there's no need for us all to miss out, you two stay here and eat, i'll probably just go straight to bed anyway." Urs nodded and David left them alone. He made his way quickly back to the hotel and went straight for Auds room, he knocked on the door and waited for it to open. He knocked again louder this time and was relieved to hear movement this time. Auds looked surprised to see him standing there and said "David, what are you doing here? Why aren't you with the others?" He walked into the room past her and she shut the door and turned to face him. He looked at her and said "I want an honest answer to this Auds, was it because of Jodie that you and Urs had words earlier?" Auds looked at the floor and didn't say anything. She took a deep breath then started to speak when David interrupted her and said "Tell me the truth, i know she's my sister, but i also know what she's like." Auds looked at him and said "Okay, yes, it was about Jodie. I'm sorry David, i know she's your sister and i really wanted to like her, but i really can't, there's just something about her." David sank onto the bed behind him and said "I knew she was up to something. I just don't know what." Auds sat down beside him and said "Hey, don't worry about it, me and Urs are strong, we'll get through this. We're not always going to like the same people" David smiled at her and said "I know you two will be fine, i was just telling Jodie all about everything you two had been through earlier." Auds frowned and said "She was asking me earlier how we had met, she seems to be awfully interested in us and nobody else." David groaned. "I think i know what she's up to, she did this to somebody else back at home. A couple that had been together for years, she took a fancy to the guy and managed to wreck everything they had, she made them hate each other and it looked like they had just come apart naturally. She took up with the guy afterwards then dumped him after a few months. I only found out when the guy told me that she had been flirting with him all through the break up and that’s why he had broken up with his partner." Auds stared at David then said "That’s terrible, you must have felt so bad." David nodded and said "Thing is, he was one of my best friends and i couldn't bring myself to face him after that, so i lost a good friend through her." Auds shook her head then said "But Urs wouldn't fall for it, after everything we've been through, we're stronger than most couples are." David nodded and said "I agree, we'll just have to keep an eye on her and you had better not leave Urs alone too often when she's around."

They sat there talking for a bit longer both unaware of what was actually happening back at the restaurant where they had left Urs and Jodie alone.
