*Chapter 21*

*A week later*


David was back at the airport, this time to pick up Jodie. He had told Steve all about her and he had agreed with his mum that maybe she could do with a change and had agreed to have her come with them for a while. He watched as all the passengers on her flight appeared, but there was no sign of her. Then he heard a commotion and knew that she would be in the middle of it somehow. She came through the doors into the lounge and spotting David straight away shouted at the top of her voice "Davie" then dropped all her bags and ran towards him pulling him into a massive hug. He looked around him embarrassed and then said "Hey sis, i think you should go pick your bags up." Jodie looked at him then turned and went to pick all her bags up. They got into the car and drove back to the hotel, David already dreading how this was going to go, she certainly appeared to be more hyper than he remembered. When they had got to the hotel and had settled Jodie into her room he sat her down and said "Right, i don't want to sound like I'm nagging, but I have to work with these people, so can you please try not to cause any scenes or upset anyone and if someone asks you to do something, can you please do it?" Jodie looked at his face and knew that he was worried about her. He had never been good at hiding his feelings from her. She nodded her head and said "I'll try, but you know what i'm like Dave, i just say and do what i like." David nodded and said "I know that, but that’s not always best Jodes" Jodie smiled. David was the only person who called her that. He sighed and said "Okay, lets go and find the others and please try and be nice."

He phoned Seb to ask him where they all were and he told him that they were all in Carlos' room. They made their way to Carlos' room and knocked and went straight in. They were all in there, Auds & Urs, Sonia & Seb and Carlos & Michelle. He introduced them to Jodie and then they all had a drink. Jodie looked around her at the gang of people she was to be hanging about with for the next while and thought they looked like fun, then her eyes landed on Urs who was standing by himself. She walked over to him and said "Hey" Urs smiled at her and said "So, you're David's little sister. I hope you're not as crazy as him, one crazy Miller around here is bad enough." then he grinned. Jodie didn't know what it was, but when he had grinned she had felt as if she had started falling. She grinned back and said "Me, no I'm nowhere near as crazy as Davie. Mum always said that i was the only person David would listen to." She talked to him for a bit longer then Auds came over and Urs put an arm round her and kissed her. Jodie tried to ignore the fact that Urs had his arm round Auds and said "how long have you two been together? Auds smiled widely and said " Just over two months now." she kissed Urs again and said "i'm going to go do some work now that i have to catch up on before tonight’s show, you stay here and enjoy yourself." she kissed him again then turned to Jodie and said "nice to meet you Jodie." then she walked away saying bye to the others on her way out.

Jodie noticed the look on Urs face as he watched her walk out. It was the look of a man in love. She frowned and thought to herself that she always got what she wanted and she had found something she wanted.

A few days had passed and Jodie seemed to have settled in well. David was worried though that she was up to something. He was sitting talking to Urs about her. "She's only ever been this good when she's up to something, i just don't know what." he said. Urs looked at him and said "Maybe she really is just trying to behave, i've talked to her a few times and she's always been really nice." "Exactly" said David. "I know Jodie and she doesn't do nice unless she's after something." Urs shrugged and said "Well, she is your sister and you would know her better than me, but, all i'm saying is to give her the chance to prove that she's changing, don't just automatically assume that she's up to something." David sighed and said "Maybe you're right."

Auds was sitting down in the restaurant going over some stuff on her laptop. The guys were almost finished their tour of America then they had a week of meetings to discuss the new album before they headed over to the UK for some shows at various castles in Scotland and England. She looked up as she heard her name and saw Jodie approaching. She sighed then put on a smile as she sat down beside her. She knew she was David's sister, but there was just something she didn't like about her, she couldn't place it, but she just had a feeling she wasn't to be trusted. "Hey Auds, I hope you don't mind me bothering you, i can't seem to find anyone else around." said Jodie. "That’s because they're away at an interview for a magazine." said Auds trying not too sound too rude. "Can i help you with anything specific as i am rather busy at the moment." Jodie shook her head then said "Can you tell me all about how you and Urs met?" Auds looked up at her warily then closing her laptop lid said "Sure, just let me get a coffee first." and went off to get a coffee. Jodie very quickly lifted the laptop open and after looking for a minute wrote something down. She shut the laptop again as Auds appeared back and sat down. "Okay, Urs and I have had a lot happening to us both since we met two months ago. I used to work for their record company Sony BMG and one day they were looking for a new P.A. so my two friends at the time." her eyes darkened as she thought of Nyree. "Well, they put my name down for the job and although i tried my hardest not to get it, i got it. I had to go and spend the day with Simon Cowell, David and Urs the next day to catch up on everything they had planned for the upcoming months. Urs asked me if i wanted to go have some lunch with him and i couldn't come up with anything quick enough to get out of it, so i went and made a complete idiot of myself." Jodie smiled and said "How and why did you not want to go?" Auds smiled as she remembered. "I had been in love with Urs for a long time before i actually met them and him, so i was finding it hard not to let him know this and i failed so miserably. I ran out of the cafe he had taken me too and ran off on him. He found me sitting in the middle of the road with tears running down my face." Jodie smiled again whilst trying to figure out how she could use all this information. "To cut a long story short, we came to a small truce that i would try and work with him and he would try not to look so sexy!! That worked for about two days when it all got too tough again. So David and the other two guys decided to sort it for us and shut us together in a moving car and made us talk to each other and admit how we both felt. It worked and that was when we first got together." She looked up at Jodie who was smiling at her. "It all sounds so romantic." she said.
Jodie stood up then and said “I’ll let you get back to your work, we shall have to spend some more time together soon though.” Auds smiled at her and said “yeah, we will.” then after Jodie walked away muttered to herself “Not as long as I can help it”
