*Chapter 36*

Sonia, Seb and Auds had been in Paris for a couple of days now and all the wedding plans were falling into place. The invitations had arrived while they were over doing the Castle shows, so they were all written and waiting to be posted. The cake had been ordered at the best bakers in Paris, the transport to and from the church had been booked, but Seb wasn’t telling Sonia what it was, said he wanted it to be a surprise. Her and Auds were going to spend the next day looking for the dresses. They got up the next morning and had breakfast before leaving Seb behind and heading of to the shops. They walked arm in arm down the main shopping street in Paris, a warm breeze making the trees sway slightly, you could tell the summer was almost over and that the autumn was on its way in by the colour of the leaves which had already started changing. They reached the shop they had been looking for and went inside. Sonia let out a little sigh as she saw the rows of white, cream and ivory dresses around the place. She looked at Auds and said “How am I supposed to just pick one? They’re all gorgeous.” Auds grinned and said “Just think of all the fun you’ll have trying them all on.” They both laughed then and a shop assistant approached them and asked if she could help them. Sonia nodded and said “I’m looking for my wedding dress and three bridesmaids dresses.” The lady smiled and said “Come through here and I’ll get all your details and sizes done. I’m Martha and I will do everything I can to make sure you leave here today with the dress you’ve always dreamed off getting married in.” She ushered them into a private changing room and offered them both a glass of champagne which they both accepted saying “Thank You” After she had taken all the information she needed for Sonia and Auds she looked up and said “Will the other two bridesmaids be joining us?” Sonia shook her head and said “Unfortunately not, one lives in America and the other in London and neither can get any time off for anything other than the wedding itself. But, if you tell me what exactly you need to know, I can get all their details for you.” Martha smiled and said “That’s fine, now, lets get started, you wait here and I’ll be right back.” then she left them alone in the room. Sonia grinned at Auds and said “I can’t believe I’m actually doing this, I’m picking my wedding dress and I’m finally marrying my Seb.” Auds laughed and said “I’m really happy for you and Seb, its going to be weird having to call you Mrs Sebastien Izambard though.”

They turned as they heard Martha saying “OMG” and saw her standing just inside the door with her arms full of dresses. She came in and hung them up and said “Sebastien Izambard from IL Divo? That’s who you’re marrying?” Sonia glanced at Auds who had a hand over her mouth then said “yes, but please don’t tell anyone, none of their fans know and we don’t want them finding out before the wedding. He’s going to announce it after we get back of honeymoon.” Martha smiled and said “Okay, I promise, I won’t tell anyone, but you are so lucky, he is one handsome guy. Although, I’m an Uber Babe myself.” Auds suddenly looked nervous and couldn’t look at her. Martha’s eyes widened and said “You’re not? Urs’ girlfriend?” Auds nodded and said “Yeah, but we’re keeping it quiet as well!” Martha shook her head in amazement and said “Don’t tell me, the other two bridesmaids are the girlfriends of David and Carlos? Auds laughed and said “Yes actually.” Martha stared at her and said “I was only joking, are you serious?” Auds nodded and her and Sonia laughed at the look on her face. She got herself together again and said “Okay, I brought these dresses through for you to try on, they’re from our bestselling range. They spent the next couple of hours watching Sonia try on lots of different dresses all of which were beautiful, but none of them really stood out as ‘her’ dress. Martha thought for a minute then said “Hang on, there is one more dress we can try, its unique, there was only one of it made and I think it will be perfect for you.” She went away and came back with this dress bag and hung it in the changing area then helped Sonia get into it. When she stepped out of the curtain Auds gasped and said “That’s it Sonia, that’s the one, it fits you perfectly, almost like it was made for you. Seb will absolutely love you in it.” Sonia grinned and said “Knowing Seb, he won’t let me wear it for too long!!” then added “Okay, I’ll take this one.” She got changed out of it and back into her own clothes while Martha put the dress to one side and put the others back where she’d taken them from. She came back and said “Okay, are you ready for the bridesmaids dresses now?” They both nodded and they spent the next hour with Auds trying on lots of dresses and them discussing whether it would suit all three of them. Eventually they came to a decision and they had their dresses. Sonia paid for them and asked if she could collect them nearer the wedding so that Seb wouldn’t be able to find it. Martha grinned and said “Sure, we’ll keep them safe for you.” Sonia thanked her and said “I’ll come back in with the details of the other girls as soon as I get them for you.” then her and Auds walked out of the shop and headed back to the house. Auds was going to fly back to London the next day and let Seb and Sonia have some time to themselves and she was going to get back to work.

It was the last few days before everyone had to go back to London and Janice was actually quite glad that David was going to be away. She had never thought she would ever feel like that, but he was driving her crazy, he wouldn’t let her do a thing, everytime she stood up he would ask where she was going then not let her do it, going to do it himself. If he told her one more time to go and lie down, she was going to scream. She was pregnant, not bloody sick, she didn’t need to lie down and she could still make dinner and do the washing up. She was surprised he was letting her go to work, I mean, she had to get up and move to do that. It had been lovely for the first few days, now it was just starting to grate on her nerves. David poked his head round the kitchen door and said “You two okay in here?” she took a deep breath and said “We’re fine thanks babe.” He smiled and came right into the room then and sat down beside her and said “Are you sure? You look a bit pale, maybe you should go and lie down for a while.” Janice stared at him and opened her mouth then shut it again and stood up saying “I’m going for a walk and I don’t want any company thanks” then grabbed her jacket and walked out the house. David leaned back in the chair and frowned. He really didn’t like the idea of her being alone and wondered if he should follow along behind her just in case she changed her mind about wanting company. He wanted to talk to her about him maybe staying home a bit longer with her, he had talked to Simon about it and he had said that if he wanted to he could record some of his vocals in a studio near him here in America, but he would need to be with the guys for some of the recording to get the harmonies right. He didn’t really want to leave her alone while she was pregnant, he didn’t want her to have to do everything by herself. He decided he would tell her when she got back and went back into the kitchen to finish what he’d been doing.

Auds was at her flat with Michelle, they had both taken the day off and had spent it shopping and having fun. Auds had filled her in on the fun her and Sonia had on the day they got the dresses and Michelle laughed when she heard about Martha, the assistant who was an IL Divo fan. “”I wish I had been there to see her face, it sounds hilarious.” said Michelle. Auds nodded and said “The best part had to be when she jokingly said ‘Don’t tell me, the other two bridesmaids are the girlfriends of Carlos and David‘, and I nodded and said ‘Yes actually!’ She just stared at me with her mouth hanging open!” Michelle laughed and said “Oh god, I miss all the fun.” wiping the tears away. She picked up the photo’s again and said “That is one gorgeous dress as well, Sonia looks awesome in it and the one you guys picked for us is divine, this is going to be a wonderful day.” she sighed. Suddenly there was a knock on Auds door and Michelle looked at her and said “Are you expecting somebody?” Auds shook her head and said “No, I don’t know who that could be, unless its Simon, he likes to come check up on me sometimes.” Michelle grinned at her and said “He’s really sweet underneath that public mask isn’t he?” Auds nodded and said “Can you open the door for me hun, I just need to go to the bathroom.” as the person knocked again. Michelle nodded and walked over to the door and opening it let out a scream. Auds came running through shouting “What? who was it? Michelle?” The room was empty and the front door was open, she started to go towards it when she felt a hand go round her mouth and she was pulled backwards. Then she was spun round and she found herself looking into the eyes of the man she loved.

“Urs” she cried. “What are you doing here, I wasn’t expecting you for another few days.” she kissed him and then said “Where did Michelle go?” Urs grinned and said “Well, lets just say that I’m not the only one back early and she went off with Carlos and she said to say goodbye” Auds smiled and said “Okay, guess I won’t be seeing her again for a while then! So, what made you come back early? I thought you were going to spend all the time you could with your folks?” He nodded and said “I was, but I found that I couldn’t get somebody out of my mind and I just wanted to come back and be with her.” He pulled her in tighter and kissed her deeply then said “I missed you so much Auds, I am never going on holiday without you again.” He looked at her with such intensity it felt like his eyes were going to burn a hole through her. He kissed her again then said “I hope you had no plans for the rest of the day because I am not letting you out of my sight for a long time.” then he picked her up and carried her through to the bedroom where he stared at her and started to slowly undress her until she was wearing nothing. He pushed her backwards gently until she was lying back on the bed and he quickly got undressed and lay down beside her and started to let his hands wander over her body moaning as her hands did the same to him. They very quickly lost themselves in each other as they made up for the time spent apart. They pulled apart quickly when they heard somebody saying “OMG, I’m sorry.” Auds pulled the bedcover over her and Urs and looked up. Whoever had been there was gone and she looked at Urs who was just as puzzled as her. She got up and wrapped a sheet round her and went into the other room and found Simon standing there looking very embarrassed. “Simon, what are you doing here? And how did you get in?” she asked. Simon looked at her just as Urs appeared at her side wearing his jeans and nothing else. “I’m sorry Auds, I came by to see if you were alright and the front door was wide open and you didn’t answer when I called out. I thought something had happened to you, that’s why I came looking in there.” Urs tried not to laugh at the look on Simon’s face and said “She’s just fine Simon, but thank you for checking on her for me.” Don’t worry Simon, I’ll be fine now that Urs is back. He nodded and said “I’ll just leave you to get on with what you were doing then” then went red as he remembered what it was they had been doing. Auds and Urs started laughing and he shook his head and walked out the door shutting it behind him. Urs grabbed hold of Auds and said “You heard him, we have to get on with what we were doing” then grinned and dragged her back into the bedroom.
