*Chapter 31*

David had just arrived at the house that he and Janice lived in and he let himself in knowing that Janice would be at work. He had a shower and unpacked his bags then left to go see Janice. He couldn’t wait to see the look on her face when he just turned up, she knew they had this small break, but wasn’t expecting to see him during it. He smiled as he pulled up outside her offices and got out of the car. He walked into the building and went straight for her office. He could hear her voice coming from inside the room and he stood there for a minute before knocking on the door. He heard her say “Come in” and he opened the door and saw that she was on the phone. Her mouth dropped open when she saw David walk in and then she said Uhm, I’m sorry, I’ll have to call you back” and hung up the phone. She got up and went straight over to him and gave him a kiss then said “OMG, David, what are you doing here, when did you arrive, how long are you here for and why didn’t you tell me you were coming?” David laughed and said “Because I wanted to see you react like that!! I thought I would come and see my girlfriend when I had a few days off, but if you don’t want me here I can just leave again.” and he started to turn. Janice grabbed him and said “Don’t you dare.” and she grinned and said “I can’t believe you’re actually here, I have missed you so much since I came back.” He leant down and kissed her softly and said “So have I Jan, so have I” then he kissed her again harder this time and reaching behind him he locked the door of her office and then he walked her backwards while still kissing her and he lifted her up onto her desk pushing all the stuff on it onto the floor. He started to open the buttons on her shirt and he pushed it of her shoulders then placed kisses all over her neck and shoulders. She pulled his shirt off him and threw it onto the floor and ran her hands over his bare chest and pulled him closer to her. He pushed her back so she was lying on the table and pushed her skirt up to reveal her long legs. He quickly pulled his jeans off and they made love right there. They lay together for a few minutes then Janice’s phone rang and she got up to answer it. She watched David getting dressed as she was listening and when she hung up she picked up her shirt and put it back on and sorted her skirt and hair then looking at David said “I can’t believe we just did that in my office, you don’t know how many people are on the other side of that door.” He grinned then and said “No, I don’t, but I only have eyes for the person on this side of the door.” then he kissed her and said “I’ll see you at home later” and kissed her then unlocked the door and was about to open it when Janice said “Wait” and rubbed her finger on his cheek. “Lipstick mark” she grinned. He left her to get on with her work then although she didn’t get very much done after he had left.

Seb and Sonia were looking at venues for the wedding ceremony and had arranged to visit a few the next day. They were sitting with a takeaway and a bottle of wine looking through templates for the invitations and trying to come up with who they actually wanted to invite. Seb pushed the books to one side and said “Can we not try organising another part of the wedding?” Sonia looked at him suspicious and said “Which part would you prefer to organise?” Seb grinned and said “The most important part of course and one that needs lots of rehearsal.” Sonia looked confused and hit Seb as he started laughing. “What are you talking about Seb” “The wedding night, of course” he grinned. “It definitely needs a lot of organising and rehearsal.” He ran his fingers up her arm and then leaned in towards her and kissed her softly. She grinned as he pulled away and then nodded in agreement. “mm, you’re so right baby, we definitely need to rehearse that a lot” He pulled her onto his lap and kissed her again deepening the kiss as she let her hands start to wander over him. He slid a hand under her top and started to run his hand over her bare skin, she shivered at his touch and she pushed his t-shirt up and over his head then started to kiss him all over his bare chest. He let out a moan as she ran her tongue over a tender spot and he put his arms under her and scooped her up then stood up and walked through into the bedroom kicking the door shut on his way past and they rehearsed their wedding night for a long time.

Carlos and Michelle had ended up driving North so that they wouldn’t have too far to go when they had to leave for their next show in Edinburgh. They had booked themselves into a small Bed & Breakfast in the Scottish Borders run by a lovely couple, much to the delight of the wife, who couldn’t believe that one of IL Divo was staying in her small place. They spent the next two days acting like tourists going round all the local sights and eating out plus Michelle dragged him round the shops more than once. It was their last night there before leaving to go meet up with the others in Edinburgh. They were both in their rooms getting ready and Michelle was sitting doing her make up thinking about what Auds and Sonia had said the night in Cardiff. She had a surprise for Carlos and was going to give it to him that night. They met up down in the lounge and sat down there for a while before leaving for dinner. Carlos had booked a table at a restaurant recommended by the couple who owned the B&B. They spent a lovely night in there with good food, wine and each others company. They walked back to where they were staying slowly arm in arm and Carlos being the gentleman he was walked her to her room and then he kissed her goodnight as he always did and went to walk away. Michelle grabbed hold of his hand though and looked at him then said “Would you not rather come in?” He smiled and said “I guess I can come in for a while” Michelle looked at him and kissed him before running her finger down his chest through the open shirt and said “I meant, would you rather not come in and stay?” She smiled at him and walked backwards into the room leaving him standing there with a shocked look on his face. He walked towards her slowly and said “Are you saying what I think you’re saying? Are you sure about this, I mean we don’t have to if you’re not ready?” Michelle grinned and put a finger on his lips to shush him. She followed her finger with her lips and kissed him softly then said “If I didn’t mean it, I wouldn’t have said it. I think we’ve waited long enough Carlos, I want us to be together in all ways.” This huge smile appeared on Carlos’ face and he pulled her into him and said “Well then Red, that is what we shall be” and he went to kiss her. “Just one thing first.” she said trying to stop herself from grinning. Carlos let her go and sighed “Anything for you my dear.” She looked at him really seriously then said “Could you shut the door please?” then burst out laughing. Carlos grinned and quickly went to shut the door then came back and grabbing Michelle round the waist he started tickling her. She squirmed and yelled under his touch, but he wasn’t letting go of her and they ended up on the floor with tears running down their faces from all the laughing. Carlos managed to get himself on top of Michelle and although she tried to move, she was pretty well stuck between him and the floor. They tried to stop laughing and Carlos brushed away the remaining tears from Michelle’s face then he leant down and kissed her softly then deepening it as he felt her responding. She let her arms go round his neck and she twisted her fingers into his hair and she let out a low moan as his lips started to explore her neck and shoulders. He pushed the thin strap of her dress off her shoulder and then let his hand wander down her body, he got off her then and put out a hand to help her up and his eyes wandering up and down her body he slipped the other dress strap off her shoulder and sucked in a breath as it fell to the ground exposing her body. He couldn’t take his eyes off her and he just stood there as she stepped out of it and came towards him and started to open the few buttons he had tied on his shirt and pulled it of to reveal his chest, she ran her fingers through the thick hair covering it and felt him shudder. He pulled her close again and giving her a kiss he moved them back towards the bed and laid her down on it gently then quickly removed his trousers and underwear. He saw her eyes wandering all over him taking him all in like he had just done with her and he moved to the side of the bed and lay beside her and whispered something to her. She nodded and smiled at him. He started with her lips then placed kisses all the way down her body and then back up again. He could feel her trembling and when he saw the look in her eyes when he reached her lips again he almost melted. He couldn’t hold back any longer and he made love to her then taking them both to a place they would never want to return from. They fell asleep in each others arms and Carlos woke up during the night and just lay there looking at her and wondering, not for the first time, how her ex boyfriend could have treated someone as exquisite and warm and loving as her with such malice.
