Seb woke up the next day with one hell of a headache and found that he could hardly move without feeling sick. He managed to drag himself into the shower and just stood there letting the water run over him. He wondered how he had gotten back to his room last night and also why he had let himself drink so much, he wasn't normally one for drinking an awful lot. He got dressed and made his way down to find the others. He walked into the restaurant and saw David, Carlos and Janice sitting at a table. He got himself a strong cup of coffee and went to join them. They looked at him in shock as he sat down. "God, you look terrible man." said Carlos who was looking remarkably fresh for the amount he had drunk. Seb looked at him and said "I feel a lot worse than i look, my head is about to explode." Just then Urs and Auds appeared and Auds ran over to them and started greeting them excitedly. She hugged Carlos and David before she realised that Seb was holding his head in his hands and muttering away in French. She sat down in the chair beside him and said "Seb, are you okay?" He looked at her and said "Its good to see you Auds, but can you please keep the noise down?" She looked at Carlos and David who were trying not to laugh and Carlos said "He had rather a lot to drink last night and now he's feeling a bit um, how do you say, fragile." Auds grinned and said "Sorry Seb, i'll keep it quiet." Urs appeared then with two plates of food, he put one down in front of Auds and sat down with the other one. Seb took one look and said "I'm going to be sick" and got up and walked away. Urs looked at the others who just laughed. "Auds, Urs" said David. "This is Janice." Auds smiled at Janice and said "Hey hun, its nice to finally put a face to the lady that David keeps going on about." Urs nodded in agreement then said "Welcome to the madness hun." Auds said then "I'm sorry about last night, you must have thought we were so rude. I must have been more tired than i thought." Carlos grinned and said "Did you not get that much sleep in Switzerland then?" Auds blushed as the others laughed. They finished off their breakfast then decided what they were going to do until they had to leave for their sound check.

Auds had left the others in the hotel foyer waiting for her whilst she went up to check on Seb. She found him back in his bed. he had opened the door for her and then crawled back under the covers. She sat down beside him and said "Seb, what’s wrong? Did something happen when you were off?" Seb groaned and mumbled something that she didn't quite catch. "I didn't hear that babe, can you speak up slightly." He lifted his head off the pillow slowly and said "I'm fine, just had too much to drink last night, that’s all." Auds didn't look convinced and said "Well, you know where to find me if you want to talk, we'll meet you later for the sound check." Seb groaned again. Auds didn't want to leave him, she had a feeling there was more behind this than he was letting on, but there was no point in sitting around if he was going to sleep for the rest of the afternoon. She stood up and went to put a glass of water by his bed for him, then she left him alone and went back to the others. They had decided while she was away that they were going to go do some sightseeing. But she couldn't take her mind of Seb and was determined to get him to talk to her somehow.

It was 7.30pm and they had done their sound check, it wasn't one of their best with loads of things going wrong, but that’s what the sound check was for, sorting out these little problems before the actual concert. Seb, wearing sunglasses to cover his eyes, felt better than he had been, but he was still looking awfully pale and make up were going to have to work hard to cover it up. They were just getting their show clothes on ready. Auds and Janice were going to be out front tonight watching their men. They had quickly realised that they had a lot in common and had become friends. They guys did the show, as wonderfully as they always did. Seb performed as if he hadn't just spent the day in bed with a massive hangover, they were all amazed at how he had pulled it off. Then it was over and they were back in the changing rooms waiting for the guys to get ready. As always Auds and Janice went out first and they waited in the car for the guys. "It stops the fans from thinking that we're one of the guys possible girlfriends." explained Auds. "Plus, i know that Simon Cowell doesn't want me and Urs to become public knowledge, so we have to be professional only with each other when we're working." Janice nodded in agreement. "I have spent some time on their forum and the fans like to think of them all as single guys that they may one day have a chance with. I've often wondered what they would say if they knew that most days they were actually talking to David's girlfriend!! But, i just keep quiet and pretend i'm just like one of them." Auds smiled. "I would keep that quiet!!" she agreed. They guys appeared then and they were off back to the hotel.

As they were walking into the hotel Seb came up beside Auds and said "Can i talk to you Auds, alone? I really need to get something off my mind." Auds looked at him with a worried look on her face and said "Sure Seb, just let me tell Urs where i'm going and i'll be right with you." He nodded and said "Thanks Auds, i'm going to go up to my room, i'll meet you there." Auds nodded and watched him walk towards the lifts. His shoulders were rounded and he was looking at the floor as he walked. She wondered what he was going to tell her. She went to find Urs and told him that she was just going to speak to Seb and that she would be back later. He kissed her and said "Okay babe." Auds walked off then and headed for Seb’s room hoping that he wasn't going to tell her something she didn't want to hear.

Auds knocked on Seb's door and heard him shout at her to come in. She went in and found him sitting on the sofa with a drink in his hand. She looked at him then sitting down beside him said "Seb, do you think you should be drinking? you still look ill from last night." He looked at the glass in his hand and said "But, i need it, its the only way i can block it out." Auds was worried and said "Block what out? Seb, what’s wrong, and don't say nothing because i know that something is." Seb finished the drink and put the glass down. He turned to face Auds and she could see tears forming in his eyes. "It blocks out the pain Auds, I can't cope with the pain anymore." Auds didn't understand what he was talking about, but she could tell that it was hard for him to actually say it, so she just let him carry on in his own time. "I love this job, you know i do, and i really thought that i would want to do it forever, but i can't Auds, i'm not happy being here anymore." Auds stared at him. She hadn't a clue what to say, but made herself speak anyway. "Seb, are you telling me that you want to quit IL Divo?" she asked. He stood up and went to pour himself another drink, but Auds got up and stopped him. She took him back to the sofa and asked again "Do you want to leave IL Divo?" Seb looked down at the floor and shook his head then said "No, i don't want to leave the group and the guys behind, but i can't think of any other way round it." he looked up at Auds and she saw that he had tears running down his face. Auds was confused. "If you don't want to leave the band, then what are you saying?" He looked at her then said "I love being in the group, I love singing and being with the guys, but i just can't cope with the travelling, the time away from my family and Sonia. I have been finding it harder to leave her behind each time i see her. I was in tears yesterday in the taxi on the way to the airport." Auds still didn't know what to say so she put her arms round him and gave him a hug. He pulled away from her and said "I asked her to marry me, how can i marry her, yet never be there to see her?"

He stood up and went to look out the window.

Auds stared at him, she had quickly realised that out of the four of them Seb was the sensitive one, the one who let things get to him and eat away. She knew how much of a dilemma he was in right now, he had to choose between the two things in his life that he loved almost as much as the other and that’s why he had talked to her. It was like he was hoping that she would make his mind up for him. She sighed and tried to think of a way around this. She knew she was lucky, she could travel with Urs as she worked for them. But for the others, well they only got to see their girlfriends either on time off or when they were in the same part of the country for a few days. She looked at Seb again who had moved over to get another drink, this time she let him. He came back and sat down beside her again and said "I'm sorry Auds, I didn't mean to dump this all on you, i just needed to tell somebody, to get it out in the open. I thought it might make me feel better if i told someone." Auds smiled at him then said "Hey, don't ever worry about dumping things on me, okay? I'm here anytime you want to talk and that goes for the other guys as well. I'll have a think and see what i can come up with. Maybe i'll have a talk with Simon about lessening your load for a while, giving you all some more time off." She looked around the room and said "Is there no way Sonia could come travel with you for a while? what does she work as, would they give her the time off?" Seb shook his head and said "I already thought of that, she wouldn’t want to leave her job behind. She works with sick kids and they are all really special to her, she thinks of them all as her own." Auds smiled ""I understand that, I have a friend who works in a school and she just adores all the kids she works with. Okay, so leave it with me and i'll think about it." Seb smiles at her then gives her a hug. "Thanks Auds, i really appreciate you helping me and i just hope that whatever happens, the other guys will forgive me for everything." Auds smiled and said "I'm sure they will Seb, now come downstairs with me and join us, don't sit up here alone, i don't like to think of you up here drinking by yourself." Seb nodded his head and said "Okay, just let me have a shower first and clean up and i'll be right down." Auds looked at him and he said "I promise" Auds smiled and stood up "Okay then, but i will come back for you if you don't turn up." and she walked out of his room.
