You have been such an amazing audience tonight. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for coming and supporting us 100% in this concert. Not only has your contributions to this cause gone toward giving the children from AMTM a chance at a better life, but also the nurses and doctors can continue to fund their research and help to provide the basic necessities to give these children and elderly, hope for a better future and for that I thank you. We all thank you. I am now about to introduce you, via satellite, to a little girl whom I have sponsored since learning about AMTM. Her name is Sataya and she is a beautiful girl of 8. Together, she and I have written a poem that tonight we are going to read to you. Sataya will be reading it in French with me translating into English. Please, put your hands together, then sit back and listen to Sataya as we read the words of this moving poem.”

Sataya waved to the crowd before she started to speak. “Sebastien and I wrote this poem. He wanted to show you how far his sponsorship of me and the money he has provided me has improved my life so far. We wanted people to see that sponsoring a child in my community or any community does do a lot of good. My mummy and I have been very blessed to have Sebastien in our lives now as he helped me to get better, have food and go to school. When I grow up, I want to be a doctor and help people like Seb has helped me. Here is our poem…”

Sebastien welcomed back on stage David, Carlos and Urs. Seb thanked Sataya as she curtseyed to the cheering audience that was giving her a standing ovation.

As the cheers quieted, she looked toward them again and took a deep, ragged breath. “Sebastien has told me many times that there are many kinds of hearts in this world. He has seen them himself in many shapes and sizes. To those of you with these hearts that can hear me, please… please, help us to grow our smiles. Please help us turn the rainbow upside down and make it into a very, very big smile… please.” As the audience saw a single tear slide silently down her cheek, the screen went blank.

Next to appear was another beautiful girl about 10, this time from Nepal. After taking a deep breath himself, Sebastien continued. “Ladies and gentleman, I would like to introduce you via satellite again to a little girl named Poohie. Her mother, when she was pregnant with Poohie, developed a virus which caused Poohie to be born deaf. But that has never stopped Poohie from loving music or life. So please keep your eyes on this bubbly little girl as she signs the words we sing to the heartwarming song by R Kelly, “ I believe I can fly.”

“I used to think that I could not go on…” The world was focused not on the Divos or the stage, but had their eyes glued to the screen. Poohie was signing - signing joyfully, even though she couldn’t hear the words… couldn’t hear the passion in the guys voices as they sung the words to this beautiful song. Everyone focused on this little girl because they could see and feel her lovingly cradle and caress each of the words to the song within her heart. All that she was, delicately plucked at every heartstring of every person that could see this little girl… this little deaf girl named Poohie.
